A charming grade 2* listed 17th century character cottage overlooking The Green in the popular village of Groombridge. Lime trees are a feature of the village, they stand guard over the weatherboarded tile-hung cottages surrounding The Walks. This lovely cottage really is a unique place to stay, with newly fitted wood burning stove. The space A charming three bed 17th century cottage situated on The Walks in Groombridge. The house has recently been totally renovated, and has lots of beams - some of which are quite low, so watch your head! New woodburner has just been fitted. There is a spacious fitted kitchen adjoining the old school room, with a table that can easily seat up to 8 guests. The sitting room has a large inglenook (currently the fire place cannot be used) with comfy seating and a smart TV. On the first floor is a twin room and a double room that share a bathroom, complete with shower and bath. The top floor overlooks The Green, with a vaulted ceiling, king sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. Other things to note The house is in a quiet area of Groombridge, so please be respectful of our neighbours. The garden is not fenced off but there is plenty of space to sit and be outside. There are many pubs close by, The Crown Inn is two doors away, or it’s a 7 minute walk to The Junction Inn.
