The entire property sleeps 10, however this listing is priced for 6 guests or less. Guests get the entire property regardless of number of guests. The space Known as The Forest Bure'. A buré is a traditional Fijian home. The booking is for the entire property and not shared with any other guests. Nestled amongst six acres of untouched subtropical rainforest , this tranquil escape conjures emotions of serenity and relaxation upon ones arrival. Welcome to The Forest Buré , a charming handcrafted cedar home encircled by hinterland wilderness. Upon entry guests will be greeted by the vaulted ceilings, gorgeous hardwood timber flooring and hand finish whitewash panelling throughout. With balconies that wrap around the entire home, there is endless space to take in the breathtaking surrounds of the beautiful flora and fauna of the Sunshine Coast. This resort style home will transport you to the Fiji islands whilst still enjoying the luxuries and attractions the Sunshine Coast hinterlands has to offer. Set over three levels the buré can cater for large families or as an intimate couples retreat. Equipped to keep guests of all ages entertained. Spacious outdoor area, table tennis , XBox, Wi-fi and not to mention the pool and infrared sauna! Beach is also less than 20 minutes away if you want a change of scenery! Generously appointed kitchen with all amenities and appliances needed for a comfortable stay including all utensils & dishes, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, freestanding oven, microwave, air fryer, tea and coffee facilities and a barbecue area. The mezzanine style master room has a comfortable Queen sized bed and is perched on its own level overlooking the living area with an ensuite attached. Bedroom 2 is located on Level 2 with access to the balcony. This level also has the living area and an exquisite bathroom offering a claw foot bathtub next to bay windows, taking in the staggering views. The studio room is located on the ground level with its own self contained kitchenette. It can be set as a super king or 2 king singles. This bedroom is near the sauna room, a full bathroom and opens up to the tropical gardens around the corner from the heated pool. Instead of the studio, there is an option of choosing bedroom 3 with bunk beds for the kids. This bedroom is located next to Bedroom 2. Please contact host to discuss sleeping arrangements if this bedroom is preferred instead of the studio downstairs. Premium linen for bedding and bath towels are provided.. beach essentials (umbrella and cabana) also included! Guests only need to bring their own pool/beach towels. There is no dedicated desk for workspace but the property has fast Wi-Fi and plenty of areas available to set up a workspace/laptop. Guest access The entire house but only 3 out of 4 bedrooms. Only the guests in the booking will be staying at the property for full privacy. Other things to note Driveway and Parking: For guests to enjoy the extensively landscaped tropical garden which includes a water feature , fire pit and heated pool, we kindly request to please take care when turning their cars on the driveway. The property is located on a hill and has a long driveway accessible by a secure gate. There is limited parking and turning space at the gardens (the entry of the house) and we request for guests to limit 1-2 cars being parked (or driven up) there at once. For the convenience of our guests, we have a secure gate at the entry of the drive away. Any extra cars can be safely parked inside the gate - A sign has been placed along the driveway "Guest Parking" which is located a few metres away from the house.. From the gate, the front door of the beautiful buré is a short stroll away (less than a minute). We thank you for your understanding and for complying with this important request. Water: The acreage style property is on tank water. Water tanks are filled at all times so there is adequate water supply at all times. We still request you to please be mindful of water wastage. Tank water combined with the design of the house, the bathroom in the upstairs master bedroom is located on 3rd floor - this can cause variable water pressure. So please don't be alarmed if water has to be adjusted during showers. We guarantee you will still enjoy a refreshing shower with views of the forest canopy as you look The house: The Forest Bure' is a 30 year old hand crafted and well engineered house. It is not brand new but is well loved and well kept. Piping can be slightly noisy when bathrooms and toilets are used at night. It adds to the charm of our oversized wooden cabin in the woods.
