Catskill Mountain Cabin~wood stove+soaking tub

This cozy Western Catskills cabin is all about relaxation! Soak in our mountain spring gravity fed clawfoot tub, curl up by the wood stove with a book, go hiking, kayaking, and swimming, visit breweries, covered bridges, and antique stores, or grab a bite at one of the many local farm-to-table restaurants. Nestled between the towns of Hamden and Downsville, just over two hours from the GW Bridge and only minutes to the Delaware River and Pepacton Reservoir, this cabin is your perfect getaway. The space Please read this this description carefully to make sure this is the right space for you. -This cabin comfortably sleeps four people, with two sleeping areas, including an open main loft sleeping area with a queen bed on the 2nd floor overlooking the downstairs living space along with a smaller separate nook/office on the opposite end of the catwalk that includes one regular twin bed and the option of an additional fold out elevated twin cot which is easy to set up. While the smaller sleeping nook is mostly private, due to the open features of the sleeping areas, this cabin is best suited for a couple or small family. There is a claw foot soaking tub that also has a shower, and a fire pit and grill on property. -The cabin was built by a quirky folk artist builder. As such, you can expect some abstract framing and unique touches. Think the Seven Dwarfs. If you’re looking for a more modern, traditional space, this may not suit you. Both bedrooms are on the second level and require the use of stairs. -Cabin offers fiber optic Wi-Fi. -Laundry service is available upon request. Please inquire. -Pets are welcome for a fee. Please do not bring pets without paying pet fee. Pets must be kept with their people at all times or crated if left alone. We have an extra large crate available, but people must provide bedding. Please use provided furniture cover when on furniture. -This is a cabin surrounded by woods, and as such you can expect the occasional critter or insects, particularly with colder weather approaching. We do our best to make our space as comfortable as possible, but if that’s not your kind of vibe, this may not be your kind of space. -Cabin has electric heat. There is no central air but there are plenty of fans available. -The property boasts 2.5 acres of grassy fields and woods with mountain views and natural mountain springs, one of which provides potable drinking water directly to the cabin. The setting behind the cabin and property features 190 wooded acres. Often you can hear the sounds of the Telford Hollow Creek located across the street. You will be the only guests on the property, which is conveniently located on CR-26, a main road connecting Downsville to Hamden. The surrounding areas of Downsville, Hamden, and Delhi are classic Western Catskill farming and dairy towns, nearby Roscoe is best known as a trout fishing haven, and the cabin is set right off of the road for easy year round access. Guest access Guest have access to entire property. Other things to note -Absolutely no smoking or vaping in cabin or on porches. Tobacco and vaping products of any kind are not allowed anywhere on the property. -Please clean up after your pets. -Additionally, phone service is spotty but fiber optic wi-fi is available.
