Other things to note Important Property & Safety Information No Pets Policy This home is a strict no-pets property due to severe allergies. Please respect this rule — it’s essential for the health and safety of everyone who stays here. Electric Vehicle Charging A Level 2 JuiceBox charger is available on-site. Tesla vehicles are compatible when using the Tesla-to-J1772 adapter provided by Tesla. Wildlife & Insects Being surrounded by woods means you may encounter wildlife and insects — it’s part of the natural beauty of mountain living. Occasionally, small critters such as mice may try to come inside; we take proactive measures to prevent this. If traps are in use, they’re placed discreetly and safely. Insects, including ticks, are common outdoors year-round. We recommend bug spray during warmer months and regular tick checks after spending time outside. Weather & Road Conditions Mountain weather can be unpredictable — expect possible snow, ice, rain, mud, and rapid changes in conditions. We do our best to keep walkways and paths clear, but please use caution. Rock salt is provided in winter, though extreme cold may cause ice to refreeze. The driveway is plowed after approximately 3–5 inches of snow, depending on conditions and the plow schedule. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles are strongly recommended for our area, especially in winter. Burn Bans & Safety Notices Living in the mountains means that weather and fire risk can change quickly. Local or state authorities may issue burn bans, road closures, or state of emergency notices that can impact the use of outdoor fire pits, campfires, and cooking fires. These orders must be followed when in effect. Failure to comply may result in fines issued by local fire or police departments. Please understand that such situations are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for any related restrictions. Your cooperation helps keep you, our community, and our mountain environment safe. Thank you for understanding and for doing your part to help us protect this beautiful area.
