You can launch your boat at Sydenham public boat launch. You will enjoy stunning views of the lake & the sunset from both decks, and from almost all rooms of the lakehouse. Private camp fire site with built- in, stone seating will take your breath away… Enjoy our Grilling Deck adjacent to the family room and equipped with a Weber BBQ, watch the sunset, and entertain with guests on the dinning patio next to you while you grill. Guest access Guests can access the entire property, multiple parking spaces and three driveways, a private dock, kayaks & paddle board in the summer, a guesthouse with queen bed & lake views, as well as camp fire site Other things to note Best 401 exit is Perth Rd/HWY 10. DON’T take Little Lake Road to get here, especially in the winter!We are 25 km from the first capital of Canada, a beautiful city of KINGSTON, which has everything: hospitals, gourmet dining & fast food, most major grocery and hardware stores. Kingston is Canada’s museums capital, with 24 of them, 3 art galleries, and many historic sites. On route from Kingston to the cottage, approx 5 minutes drive from Hwy 401 is one of a kind grocery store in Glenbournie. It has an amazing butcher, local goods, and an LCBO. When at the cottage and supplies run low, Sydenham Foodland is our go-to place. Sydenham has a wonderful bakery called Grains&Goods and a historic General Store. Those can be accessed by car or boat. Our favourite things to do at the cottage is jumping off the dock, sitting around the cliff-hanging fire pit telling true-life stories, cooking meals together, and dining with a sunset view. Firewood is provided from the wood shed at bottom of the property - GENERATOR in case of a power outage - TAP WATER 💦 is potable, Fridge dispenses water and ice. - INTERNET- unlimited, fast speed, Bell fibre internet, Bell TV app + Crave, Netflix, and streaming - PADDLE BOARD, two kayaks, water toys & floats - Extra foldable lawn CHAIRS are in the spare room of the bunkie. - MARSHMALLOW FORKS are hanging in the kitchen on the pantry wall. - TASSIMO & NESPRESSO machine is to your disposal inside the pantry. Please bring own pods. Drip coffee maker, filters, and French press onsite. We provide coffee beans 🫘, gourmet sirup & sugar. - FISHING is excellent from the dock, or from a boat.
