While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! THERE ARE TWO CABINS ON THE PROPERTY SO YOU MAY HAVE NEIGHBORS DURING YOUR STAY . The space The cabin is decorated in a simple Nordic style with bright colors, reclaimed wood, natural stone, and log furniture. The living room is warm and cozy with plenty of natural light and a gorgeous large wood-burning stove. Inside the antique chest in the living room, you’ll find toys for the little ones, table games, and magazines. Queen sleeper sofa with new memory foam mattress sleeps two comfortably. Prepare meals in a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave cooking utensils, etc. Feel free to enjoy a variety of coffee and tea from around the world and whatever you find in the refrigerator The upstairs bedroom is cozy with a romantic ambiance. Features a log queen-size bed with a new memory foam mattress and suite bathroom. Enjoy a record player with a great collection of records, and a great selection of books. Guest access Guests have full access to the Red Door Cobin and Cozy Cabin, property behind the cabin. OFF LIMITS: Shed. Other things to note Internet/phone/TV Satellite Wi-Fi/Internet,Roku, blue ray DVD player with movies and cartoons, Netflix. Phone service available through Wi-Fi calling. outside charcoal grill. A 4-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in winter months when it snows, roads are plowed regularly and chances of getting stuck are very minimal, plenty of parking on the property and outside. Things to do in the Area: The property is very private and at the same time very conveniently located to many local attractions within 15 minutes to 1 hour away such as: Florissant Fossil Beds, Wolf & Wildlife Center, Mueller State Park, Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine, Historic Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad, Pikes Peak, a lot of lakes and streams with trout, hip Woodland Park, Charis Bible College, Garden of the Gods, and variety of local breweries, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Breckenridge, Monarch Mountain, Keystone and Vail are within approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes away. Closest Commercial Airport - Colorado Springs Airport (31.2 miles)
