Other things to note Cell service is very limited in the entire Snowshoe area due to the nearby world's largest fully steerable radio telescope in Greenbank. You can turn on 'wifi calling' on your cell phones and they will function nearly as normal through the wifi internet. There is also a landline telephone for use. We have high speed internet through Starlink. Our wifi internet is well capable of streaming and other activities. The driveway and neighborhood roads are plowed during significant snowfall but AWD/chains are necessary during the winter. Sorry but we don't allow pets.
