Expect fast communication, a sparkling clean home, and plenty of insider tips. ✓ Family owned & locally managed ✓ Quick responses & personal service ✓ Professionally cleaned between every stay ✓ Neighborhood recommendations for food, hikes & lobster shacks 📝 Booking Considerations ✓ We welcome family reunions, and small events - please message before booking so we can ensure it’s a good fit. ✓ Both staircases are original and steeper than modern builds (especially the one to the primary suite), but the main-floor queen bedroom is perfect for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, ✓ Housekeeping can be arranged for longer stays. ✓ We can even help coordinate fresh Maine lobster delivery to the farmhouse! ❄️ Winter Things to Note ✓ Winter in Midcoast Maine is peaceful and beautifully quiet - and our coastal location means milder weather than inland areas. Roads are well-maintained, and the house stays warm and cozy with reliable heat, a gas stove, and thoughtfully insulated rooms. ✓ The farmhouse is fully winterized. We have modern heating, room-darkening shades, warm bedding, extra blankets, and plenty of cozy nooks for reading, relaxing, and family time. ✓ The GOODLAND woodfired hot tub is one of our guests’ favorite winter features - nothing beats stargazing in snow in the crisp coastal air. ✓ While kayaking and biking depend on weather conditions, the barn remains open year-round, offering ping-pong, swings, a yoga/gym loft, kids’ play areas, and plenty of indoor entertainment for snowy or chilly days. ✓ We’re just a short drive to Camden, Rockland, and Port Clyde, where you’ll find winter-friendly activities like boutique shopping, the Farnsworth Art Museum, cozy cafés, lighthouse walks, and scenic overlooks with far fewer crowds than summer. ✓ Our entry areas are kept clear and safe throughout winter. ✓ If you’re new to Maine winters, we’re happy to answer questions about road conditions, restaurant openings, or what to pack. We live are always here to help! ✓ We do recommend AWD/4WD in the event of a storm, though most winter days in Friendship are crisp and clear with fully plowed roads. ✓ Lobster deliveries are available year-round! A fun and delicious winter treat. “The home and all the amenities transported us into a magical experience... like we were living in a Pride & Prejudice movie.”
