Heidehaus vacation home, Cuxhaven Sahlenburg The non-smoking holiday home "Heidehaus" is located in the village center of the Cuxhaven district of Sahlenburg. Cuxhaven – Sahlenburg, Drosselweg shops, bus stop and bank are within walking distance. The property borders the heathland of the nature reserve (Wernerwald); directly from the natural garden of the holiday home, you can reach the natural landscape via direct access. Extensive hiking trails invite you to enjoy The space Go for a walk. The "Heidehaus" is completely fenced, so it is also very interesting for guests who want to bring their pet. Suitable for 1 to 4 people (in individual cases up to 6 people – on request). Free Internet access is available for our guests. Approx. 55 m², 1 living/dining room (seating area with sleeping function), 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, mini kitchen, central heating, fireplace. On the ground floor (ground-level access) there is a mini kitchen in the entrance area, a bathroom with tub, toilet (renovated – latest standard) and washing machine – the bathroom also leaves the entrance area. In the cozy living / dining room there is the sofa corner, dining table for 4 people, TV (flat screen), mini compact music system, fireplace, games, books, as well as information material from the surrounding area. Two separate bedrooms, (one room with double bed and one room with two single beds) The double bed can be accessed from both sides. Outside there is a terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. As well as a bathroom with shower and toilet (new standard). Dog owners will enjoy the walks from the house without street noise in nature. The "Heidehaus" is completely fenced, so it is also very interesting for dog owners who want to give their pet a little "free" run, or guests who want to bring bicycles. These can be safely stored here. Directly from the natural garden (forest character) you can reach the adjacent heath (Wernerwald) through your own door. Opportunities for an extensive walk (approx. 2.5 km to the water, here is also a dog beach) are very possible there. If you want, you can go around the forest lake near the beach – a relaxing nature experience! By bike or on foot you can reach the beach (about 2.5 km) through the heath and Wernerwald in about 15 minutes. Shortly before the beach is the forest swimming pool, where you can dive or train to stay fit and refresh in summer - a good alternative to mudflat hiking or beach basket lounging at low tide. A riding stable is about 300 m away at the end of the street. In Cuxhaven you can enjoy all the advantages of a port city. The location of the vacation home is also ideal for a holiday with a dog, because in Sahlenburg there is the only dog beach in Cuxhaven. Nature walks are possible directly from the house. Also from the village center you can reach the beach via a beautiful heath and forest landscape. 100 m in front of the beach are the heated forest swimming pool and the National Park Museum, in the immediate vicinity there are small shops, restaurants and ice cream parlors. At low tide, mudflat tours are offered as well as carriage rides to the island of Neuwerk, which can also be reached by boat from the harbor. In the harbor area, further excursions are offered; to the Kiel Canal, to Heligoland or simply a harbor tour. Bicycle trails are signposted; very nice is the one on the water along from Sahlenburg to the harbor, where there is a rest at the Kugelbake overlooking the Kiel Canal, towards Hamburg and the Kiel Canal. The Ahoi water park (very nice and large swimming pool with saunas, water slides, water grottos and waves / surf pool) is also worth a visit.
