We warmly welcome you to our comfortable garden level suite, offering a separate private entrance, convenient driveway for two guest cars and no stairs. Within walking distance to UVA hospital and Scott Stadium. French doors allow ample sunlight throughout the main room. A lovely well-equipped kitchenette with two burner stove top, sink and mini-fridge. Good Wi-Fi, 42 ' smart TV. Spacious well lighted bathroom, walk in shower, rain shower head and towel warmer. Perfect for two exploring Cville! The space Bright and welcoming basement-level apartment completely renovated with lovely french doors, an open kitchen, sitting area and a spacious tiled bathroom. Queen bed with comfortable mattress, nice linens, seasonal blanket and four pillows. Leather loveseat, side chairs, coffee table, area carpet and floor lamps. Large dining table with seating up to four. Laptop-friendly space with WiFi and 42' Smart TV. Guests may log into their own streaming services. Apartment's kitchenette is fully equipped with sink, under-the-counter refrigerator, two-burner stove, microwave, toaster-oven, Nespresso coffee maker, tea kettle, cutlery and an assortment of bowls and plates. For preparing light meals, guests will find pans, pots, cooking utensils and cutting boards. We include wine, champagne and shot glasses. Complimentary Nespresso capsules and teas. Very large, well-lighted bathroom with tiled walk in shower and rain shower head. (Shower is perfect for tall person up to six feet six inches!) Cotton towels, towel warmer and extractor fan. Spacious built-in closet with removable lower rod for hanging longer graduation or wedding gowns. A chest of drawers provides more convenient storage. Before venturing out, inspect your evening attire in our tall standing mirror. Linens and towels are included. Amenities include iron and board, hair dryer and toiletries. Guest access This self-contained apartment, with a private entrance, is separate from the upper house and offers no-contact check-in. Guests have exclusive access to the suite. My partner or I frequently travel, but we do live above. We love to ensure that our guests get the most out of their Charlottesville visit. Maps and information are available. Requests for dining or entertainment recommendations are always welcome. Private dedicated driveway accommodates two to three guest vehicles and is in front of the suite entrance. Exterior lights for your nighttime convenience and safety. Other things to note We are UVA employees who occasionally work from home, which may result in some noise filtering into the apartment. We can sometimes accommodate requests for early check in or late checkout. If you wish to arrange either, please notify us in advance and pay an additional $30.00 through our Airbnb account. If we cannot accommodate your request, usually because of cleaning preparations, we will let you know. Early check in: 2:00PM; late check out:12:30PM. We are and have always been a home of non-smokers. No smoking. Internet service can be disrupted by inclement weather. Extreme weather may cause loss of power in our area. We do not have a portable generator in the event of a power failure. In the event of a heavy snowfall, park your car close to the driveway entrance for easier exiting. We usually remove snow with snow-shovels. Our cleaners are paid a living wage, yet always appreciate the occasional tip.
