Cozy lake front cottage, escape with amenities

Relax and play at this adorable cottage, on the water or on the trails. The Lake Effect on Lower Post Lake gives all the feels. It takes place before you arrive, the nature, the trees, the “up north” vibe. This beautiful lake home greets you with wonderful pine throughout. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. Plenty to do or not do, it's your call. The space The kitchen is well equipped and includes an electric counter cooktop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and laundry center. Plenty of cookware and utensils. Kuerig maker with complimentary starter pods. Two bedrooms. In the primary, you have a Queen bed, with side table lights, a built in closet, overhead light and fan. In the second bedroom, you'll have a bunk bed with a twin over full bunk bed, also a built in closet. In both rooms, if you cozy up in bed and forgot to turn on the overhead light, no worries, flip the switch next to the bed. Each bedroom has TV with Roku for your personal streaming services. The living area has TV with Roku, DVD, sound bar. Play games or try your hand at the foosball table. The sofa lounger converts into a sleeper. In the shared space of the kitchen counter and dining room, there's plenty of seats, four at the counter and four at the table. Sliding glass doors lead to a small deck and picnic table. Further in the yard is the fire pit. When you head for the stairs to the lake, you can stop halfway at the landing and enjoy lunch or a beverage. The next level down to the lake allows you to sit and watch the action or take off in the paddle boat or kayak. Chill out on the raft, or for the little ones, slip down the slide. The full bathroom has a good pressure and hot water. We provide bath products. Wi-Fi is available. Please note, it's not the best phone reception and depending on carrier will drop calls. Post Lake is made up of Lower Post Lake and Upper Post Lake, a canal connects the two. There's a dam that opens up to the Wolf River which many say the fish bite well here. There are plenty of fishing holes. The lake is good for walleye, musky, northern pike and bass. Feel free to bring your boat and launch and tie up at the slip. If you don't have a boat, there is a rental nearby. Firepit and wood available. The night sky and quiet air will help you unwind. Close to the trails, both snowmobile and ATV/UTV. You can leave the house and hit the trails. Check out Moccassin Lake Cross Country Ski trail and it provides summer fun like hiking, biking and trails for horse back riding. Secluded but close enough to amenities. Close to Bass Lake golf course and Mole Lake casino. Best supper club is down the road at Wolff's Inn. Guest access Entire property. Other things to note Up to two dogs are allowed upon review and request. Please bring a pet blanket for furniture or keep off furniture. Any damages will be charged accordingly. Our residence is well water; therefore, you will see some discoloration from normal city water, and sometimes a metallic smell. We also use a septic system. Please do not throw away in the toilet or down the kitchen sink anything other than liquids that can be dissolved. Food (especially pasta) should not be thrown down the drain. Boat rental close by. No smoking in the house. Please also step away from door and windows. A $250 fee plus damages for smoke related incidents. The water well pump house is on the side of the house and may need to be accessed by the neighbor. Sometimes they walk through the yard to check on it. This house has its own well system.
