All our listings come with a Condition Inspection Walkthrough of 45-60 min (just for this listing) of which 50% of that time is spent on showing guests how to use the Games Room games. The rest of the time is to show how to operate other amenities with ease so there is no confusion on how to operate them. During the walkthrough you will also observe the condition of the property and how clean it is. This 6 Bedroom Farmhouse Sleeps 15 people. Formal dining room seats 10 people, with a massive kitchen island seating 7 people, and 3 people at the bar located at the entry just in front of kitchen - which seats another 10 people at the island. At the entry, there is also an office/desk area to conduct your work/studies. This high table seats 4 people. Guests usually use this area as a work station. This modern 3800 sq/ft farmhouse is situated on a 7.5 acres Berry Farm in Central Saanich in a private setting. There is plenty of parking on the property for up to 8-10 cars. You will need to share with us how many cars will be on the property. Your view overlooks trees and the home is situated at the end of a street. Our berry farm is tucked away behind the trees on the 7.25 acres behind the farmhouse. Kick back and relax in this beautiful home that features 10 person dining, a massive kitchen island that seats 10 people, along with another bar that seats 4 people, living room area seats about 20-30 people. And there is a quiet area at the entry to work from home at a 4-person seating HIGH table. There is also a couch bench behind the couch for additional seating. There is a 6-7 person hot tub with outdoor shower, outdoor dining area, umbrella, barbecue and a large 20 foot gazebo (gazebo isn't set up yet) with additional patio furniture and solar lighting all along the property, basketball hoop, some outdoor games, and an 18 ft swimming pool with a slide, floaties and solar cover to keep the pool water warm. The pool is not heated. It is heated only by the sun if you keep the cover on. Our farmhouse comfortably sleeps 15 people. It has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and features 1 king bed (King Ensuite), 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed, and 5 single beds in one LARGE bedroom often referred to as the Kid's Bedroom. The Kid’s Bedroom does NOT have a TV for obvious reasons. If you have very young children, we provide 2 folding play pens, high chair/s and gate ONLY UPON REQUEST. There are 5 smart TVs in the home (living room, Master King bedroom, and upstairs in the Teal, Pink AND green Queen bedrooms. Each bedroom has been named by its accent pillow colours. The Kids’ PLAYROOM is connected to their bedroom and this room will have a table and a couch for them to read or do crafts in. Kids' BEDROOM has 5 single beds and the lamps act as charging stations for their devices and the small lava lamps can be charged and are cordless and movable. Children's games are in the Play Room upstairs and consists of puzzles, drawing/colouring books, crayons, pencils, markers, gel pens, etc., a variety of board games and levelled children's books. Outside we have a storage tub of outdoor games such as a basketball/hoop, football, water guns, horseshoe ring toss game, frizbee etc. This home features a MASSIVE Games Room that has 2 ride-on car racing games, arcade game (which has over 10,000 different video games on it), pool table, air hockey table, foozeball table, many barstool seating areas, 1950’s jukebox, and futon (sleeps 2). Around the property you will find a quiet peaceful setting to kick back and relax with valley views of farms/ranches on Seabrook Rd. The farmhouse is 3-5 minutes to Church and State Winery, Butterfly World & Butchart Gardens. Downtown Victoria, ferries and Thetis Lake are all 20 min. away. Thrifty Foods and Centennial Park are both 2 min. away. Airport, Mayfair Mall and Uptown Mall are all 15 min away and are located in opposite directions on the highway. This location is very Central to everything. Elk Lake is 5 min away. HIKING/WALKING TRAILS 1. Centennial Park is 2 min away and has tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, kid’s playpark, and shading walking trails in the forest. One can also go walking around the area of Seabrook farmhouse where guests will see valley views, farms, ranches and berry farms. 2. Brentwood Bay Trails 3. Gowland Tod Provincial – accessible via the Tod Inlet 4. Douglas Park – Hiking up Douglas Mountain, scenic views of all of Victoria from the tope of the Mtn. Gobind Farms, is 2 minutes away and they have the best FRESHEST LOCAL berries, fruit and vegetables, and free range eggs in town. It is the largest berry farm on the island. They also have an ICE CREAM parlour where you can buy a Sundae with berries and bananas, and have pastries made from their berries such as pies and crumbles. They feature all sorts of products such as 66% less sugar jams and syrups. It is located on 6929 Veyaness Rd and is walkable from the Seabrook farmhouse. Satnam will share the route when you check-in. Don’t forget to ask about it! WE ALSO OFFER MONTHLY RENTALS for long term guests. We expect all guests to be respectful of your home returning it damage free to the Host upon checkout. Claims will be made for any damage and anything that is missing from the property. We keep an inventory of all our supplies, decor, bedding, towels etc. This is checked after each stay. This home comes with a Condition Inspection Walkthrough which takes about 45 min. Satnam will show guests how to use amenities so your stay goes smoothly without having to make a call for support. Satnam lives nearby and is always there to help. This home is under the management of a property manager who responds to all inquiries and provides bookings guests with information packages and who wilkanswers all of your questions. We encourage other guests to join into the booking to see the information packages which I will send 2-3 days before check-in. Otherwise, booking guest is responsible for sharing the information packages with all guests prior to arrival. RULES FOR HOT TUB AND SWIMMING POOL: 1. All children/minors must be supervised by an adult at all times. 2. Swimming pool is seasonal and is usually only open from mid-May to mid-Nov. (for those families who come from the Prairies love a cold water swim). 3.All swimsuits must be thoroughly washed in water without detergent, as the detergent breaks down the bromine chemical that's responsible for keeping the hot tub clean without that film that sits on top. It is imperative that all swimsuits be pre-washed in no detergent. AND it is imperative that all guests take a shower before using the hot tub and swimming pool as this will make for a better and cleaner hot tub and pool experience. We have an outdoor shower as well. If you are planning on using the hot tub and/or swimming pool the same day as checkin, we would suggest all guests take a shower at home first or on the property before using these facilities. 4. Hot Tub and Swimming Pool rules are posted at each station. When hot tub is not in use, the cover must be put back on to keep the heat from releasing into the air. Same goes for the pool cover. 5. 2 people are needed to remove the hot tub cover and the swimming pool solar cover. All covers go back on when not in use. Please note that when covers are on, heat is retained making the pool warm due to the cover being a solar cover. Nets are provided to help guests remove any debris such as grass clippings. We encourage all guests to wipe their feet on a towel before entering the pool/hot tub. The swimming pool is 4 ft deep. 6. All guests must read all the rules posted at the hot tub and swimming pool and must share these rules with the rest of their family members. There are not life guards on duty. 7. Don't forget to rinse off at the shower outside or inside. Satnam's and my phone numbers are also located on the fridge and it will also be provided in the Guest Information Package 2-3 days before checkin, if you ever need to call. Event requests are reviewed on a case by case basis. Please provide all the necessary details so we can make an informed decision. Important Information about the Property: 1. This home is on a Septic Plumbing System which means only bodily wastes can be flushed only. No Person hygiene products, no paper towels, no baby wipes and no wipes of any sort. 2. This home is a PET FREE, SMOKE FREE, VAPE FREE AND DRUG FREE HOME. Strictly enforced. Smoking is permitted OUTSIDE 100 yards away from the home only. No littering of cigarette butts. Cannabis and CBDs are not permitted and create strong smells that linger in the air for several hours. 3. For all of our listings, LONG WEEKENDS MUST BE BOOKED FOR A MIN OF 3 NIGHTS and not 2. We are unable to accept 2-night bookings for a long weekend. Of course, we accept 1-night bookings year-round except over long weekends. 4. Guests must behave in a responsible and respectful manner. Stags will have a longer walkthrough of 60 min.
