Description

The Highland Club is a collection of 4 and 5 star serviced self catered apartments set within 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on the south shore of Loch Ness, cradled by the Caledonian Canal and the River Tarff. It occupies Grade A gothic buildings, the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which became St Benedict’s Abbey. Located centrally in The Highlands, Fort Augustus Abbey promises comfort whilst exploring Urquhart Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns, Skye or Ben Nevis. The space The Haworth is a large one bedroom apartment with the added benefit of a study area with a sofa bed. Located on the ground floor The Haworth benefits from a large open plan kitchen/dining room/reception area that contains some of the large and impressive exposed sandstone columns which support the vaulted roof of the former church. The master bedroom has fitted cupboards and a view over the Great Glen. The bathroom has a bath, wc, basin and a shower cubicle. All guests receive a Highland Club welcome pack which includes a fruit bowl, wine and Highland Club clotted cream fudge. Registration Details HI-50103-F
