OR Branford We have a floating dock and gangway for easy on/off access. For a getaway like no other, visit our Private Island Home! This home was the filming location for A & E's "Love Prison" There are plenty of spaces to spread out. With 4 bedrooms ( 2 King & 2 Queen) and a full bath on the 2nd Floor. The claw tub shower is unique, but a little tricky. There is a large kitchen with all cooking needs. Propane powers the home. We have Propane, Stove, Double Grills, Hot Water and Frig. We recommend bringing a power bank to recharge phones, the less you use the generator the better you will feel.. Take the Stony Creek Water Taxi from the Dock. You can try for on street parking but watch signs for restricting overnight parking. You will get the key box code close to arrival. You will get instructions with the Welcome package. Be early to the Dock.!! You can park 1 car in our assigned lot for your stay. There are some free spots at the Stony Creek Docks and along the road. Watch for signs limiting time. Any other cars should be parked behind the Fire Dept./Museum against the tree line in the far back. Transportation is by the Thimble Island Ferry Water Taxi . They have a set schedule. You need to be on time early to drop your gear at the Gazebo and park. Review their schedule on line. Additional trips can be scheduled in advance but no promises they will have an extra boat or Captain.
