Experience Taos in our peaceful, stylish El Prado home nestled into the high desert mountains of New Mexico. Stay in to enjoy the charm of a spacious southwestern home and breathtaking 360 views; venture out to take in unparalleled culture, history, and outdoor adventures. The space The home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Adobe style house with stunning, unobstructed views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The first bedroom contains a king bed, private bathroom, massive mountain views, and a desk for any remote working needs. A second bedroom contains a king bed, cozy reading nook, and fast access to the serene outdoor space and hot tub. It shares a bath with the third bedroom, equipped with a full-and-twin size bunk bed set-up and another desk. The home has an inviting, open living room, dining, and kitchen space; 3 Kiva fireplaces; a hot tub; fenced-in outdoor area; and acres of you guessed it, sagebrush. It is a 10 minute drive to the Rio Grande Gorge, 15 minutes to the historic Taos plaza, and 30 minutes to Taos ski valley. Note - The home is a few miles down an unpaved road, and the driveway is unpaved as well. A 4WD vehicle isn't necessary, and there is space for several cars in the driveway. Other things to note Home Occupation Permit Number: Home Occ-24-059 (expires 8/31/25) Maximum occupancy: 10 people, maximum vehicles: 5 Taos County Open Burn Ordinance requires a permit for burning grass, brush, scrap wood, and large recreational fires, restricted to daylight hours and 300 feet from residences unless neighbors are notified. Fires must always be attended, with a water source, fire extinguisher, and tools on hand, and wind speeds under 10 MPH.
