Note. Children must be aged 5+. Sitting on 3 acres, the property once housed a 50-room guest house - Mountain Grand. Now remains a cottage which is cozy and practical. There is a tennis court, outdoor table tennis, trampoline, and fire pit. The bike trail, riverwalk, mountain bike shuttle, Alpine pub, golf course and Warburton village are walking distance. Great for a couple or a family with up to 2 children. You'll have privacy, space, late afternoon check-out, and beautiful mountain views. The space You can leave the car in the carport—you are perfectly positioned to explore Warburton on foot. The famous Rail Trail is at the bottom of our driveway, the Alpine pub is a 3-minute stroll, and the scenic river walk is just 7 minute away. If you are feeling active, the local golf course, shuttles for the mountain bikes, and the end of the mountain bike track are practically on your doorstep, whilst the vibrant village centre is a short 7-minute walk. Bike hire is close by at the Cog Cafe. After a day of exploring, enjoy exclusive use of the expansive grounds, including tennis court, outdoor table tennis, and trampoline, or gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down. To make your stay even more relaxing, we offer a late afternoon check-out (1:00 pm) so you can savour every last minute of your mountain escape. The Cottage There is plenty of room to spread out and relax across our three distinct living areas: · The Main Lounge: Curl up by the roaring Coonara wood heater on one of three large sofas to enjoy a film on the Chromecast-enabled TV. · The Cosy, (Red) Room: Perfect as a quiet study during the day, whilst the second Chromecast-enabled TV makes it an ideal retreat for kids to watch their favourite programmes or films in the evening. · The Sunroom & Balcony: Featuring comfortable cane furniture, a vintage record player, and a large selection of vinyl records, this room opens directly onto a balcony. We provide bird food for our guests; step outside to feed visiting king parrots, rosellas, magpies, cockatoos, and kookaburras whilst enjoying the incredible birdsong. Guest access You will have access to the cottage, grounds, and carport. Other things to note The property has unfenced areas so children must be always supervised. The open shed and two additional uninhabitable buildings are not for use.
