Guest access: At Elfendahl Forest, we invite you to explore most of our 20 acres of beautiful forested land, as well as the hundreds of acres of surrounding state land. However, we do advise guests to stay on designated trails as it can be easy to become disoriented in the forest. Additionally, we remind guests that Washington forests are home to a variety of wildlife, some of which may be potentially dangerous, so it's important to exercise caution and respect their habitat. With that said, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Elfendahl Forest and all it has to offer. PLEASE NOTE: Elfendahl Forest is a unique, off-grid homestead campground—not a luxury resort. Here, you'll find a whimsical and creative space filled with fairy gardens, imaginative art, and the charm of nature at its core. As a working homestead, you may also see tools, equipment, and projects that help keep our community running smoothly. We aim to be as transparent as possible about what to expect, so you can fully enjoy the magic and authenticity of your stay with us. Guest access Here at Elfendahl Forest you'll be able to access many of our 20 acres. However you will want to be careful of going off trail not only to be kind of it's ecosystem, but not to get lost as it can get very dense in places and easily get turned around. We have set our camp sites far apart from each other so people are not cramped as you'll find at many other destinations, so please be respectful of other camp sites and campers. Other things to note Bring many of the usual things you would when camping. There are many camping checklists available on line and they might be helpful to review. If you are staying in one of our tents you won't need a lot but a few things will make your stay more enjoyable like... -flashlights - lanterns - bug spray - sunscreen - your favorite camp chair. - extra hammock - enough food for your stay - cooler and ice - drinking water for camp sites * we have water on the property but can't guarantee it's safe for drinking right now. *we will have water jugs for our tent sites we get from a potable water source near by.
