Would you like to sit comfortably by the fireplace or fire, enjoy a large garden, let children play undisturbed or go into seclusion with your team? Then you will surely feel comfortable in our lovingly and sustainably renovated vacation home. Surrounded by extensive pine forests and fish ponds, the crowing of the rooster still characterizes the daily routine, the arrival and departure of the migratory birds throughout the year. An ideal location to take a break and recharge. The space A cozy vacation home awaits you, which can accommodate up to 12 guests on three floors and around 170 m² of living space. The room amenities include a large and fully equipped kitchen on the first floor, a spacious kitchen-living room on the upper floor, which can also be used for smaller seminars, five bedrooms (incl. bunk beds in the attic), a fireplace room, two new bathrooms with underfloor heating, shower and toilet as well as a separate guest toilet. Optionally, a private solid wood sauna with three loungers is also available to our guests (use for a fee of EUR 50 per 3 hours incl. use of sauna towels). We attach great importance to sustainability in the vacation home business. The house is supplied with 100% green electricity, which is partly generated with its own PV system. The heat and hot water supply is provided by an environmentally friendly brine-water heat pump. All wastewater is cleaned directly on site by a fully biological small sewage treatment plant and returned to the water cycle. Wooden floorboards, tile floors and walls without wallpaper and with mineral plaster in almost all rooms ensure a pleasant indoor climate. In terms of construction and furnishings, we have placed great emphasis on the greatest possible preservation/restoration and reuse of existing items. Linens and towels are mostly made of organic cotton. Adjacent to the house is a narrow but more than 160 m long garden plot, which is available to our guests for shared use. The garden is characterized by many fruit trees and shrubs (especially cherries, plums, apples, mirabelle plums, peaches, raspberries, currants, blackberries and walnuts) and almost always provides some fruit to taste in the summer months. It ends a few meters in front of the horse paddock, which connects to the south. The surroundings offer opportunities for forest walks and bike rides, mushroom picking and bird watching as well as excursions to castles and parks. The outdoor swimming pool Ortrand (7 km) and Lake Senftenberg (18 km) invite you to swim. Other excursion destinations include the Lausitz Lakeland, the F60 visitor mine in Lichterfelde or the Krabat Mill in Schwarzkollm (30 km each), Dresden (50 km) or the Spreewald (60 km).
