Leeds Castle, described by Lord Conway as the loveliest castle in the world, is close by. Take a trip on the River Medway through the Maidstone Millenium River Park up to Allington Lock. Maidstone leisure centre boasts four swimming pools and two water slides and is one of the best equipped leisure centres in the Southeast.
