The space **Historical curiosities** The house is located on the ground floor of a medieval building in the historic centre and dates back to between 1100 and 1200. In the past, it was part of the district of the old Convent of San Domenico. It has been owned by Mario's family since 1954. Just a few steps from the main squares, restaurants and panoramic viewpoints, yet the private garden offers a calm and intimate atmosphere away from crowds. **Accommodation** The romantic and finely furnished flat can accommodate up to 2 people. It is particularly suitable for a romantic stay for couples. It includes a large living room with equipped kitchen, relaxation area with sofa, double bedroom, reading room and luxury bathroom with large walk-in shower. Air conditioning in the bedroom is sufficient to cool all areas. All towels and bed linen are included in the price! Guest access **BY CAR** The paid car parks we recommend for their proximity, outside the restricted traffic zone, are P2 and P3/P4. All are about a 6-minute walk away. It may be possible to drive close to the house to load/unload luggage, but only on check-in and check-out days for a maximum of 20 minutes. San Gimignano is a medieval village and the streets are very narrow and not suitable for car traffic. In any case, your car will need to be moved and parked in paid car parks or free car parks outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL). **By BUS** The bus stop in town is: ‘Piazzale Martiri Montemaggio’. Then, on foot, crossing the main street that leads to Piazza della Cisterna, you will easily reach the house in 6 minutes. Other things to note After a day visiting the Tuscan countryside, you can unwind in your garde, enjoy dinner outdoors or simply relax sourrounded by the atmosphere of this medieval town. Located just 100 metres from the main Piazza della Cisterna and Piazza Duomo, it allows guests to spend their days visiting numerous art galleries and museums, strolling along the city walls and enjoying the elegant squares offering delicious delicacies to try. In the evening, the world-famous city of San Gimignano still offers the evocative atmosphere of the Middle Ages with its soft lighting and characteristic establishments where you can savour typical local products.
