The living room is a perfect blend of tasteful style and comfort, featuring a deep-seated couch where you can unwind and indulge in your favorite streaming service on the Smart TV. Both the upstairs deck and the backyard offer ideal settings for enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding La Mesa hillsides. Whether you choose to lounge by the pool, engage in a lively game of ping pong, or savor a glass of wine on the sectional deck seating, this home provides something for everyone. Each bedroom is adorned with luxurious 100% cotton linens, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep for all. The master bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. The first guest room also offers a king bed, while the second guest room provides a queen bed. The third guest room includes a double bed, and the fourth guest room offers both a twin and a double bed. For those working remotely, multiple workspaces and a high-speed 200mbps internet connection are at your disposal. Guest access My guests will have access to all the space shown in the photos. Additionally, there is a small orchard of fruit trees in the lower yard that is not pictured. The laundry room in the garage is accessible for laundry, but not parking in cars. When you complete your reservation you’ll receive our check-in form which is required to be filled out and signed prior to check-in, or else your entrance code will not be generated. For your safety and ours, the check-in form requires you to upload an ID, take a selfie and sign the house rules. If you do not agree with the house rules, you are welcome to cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking without penalty. Please note the following: the pool is not heated and a technician will enter the backyard of the home once weekly to service the pool. Additionally, we have a landscaper who comes to work on the front and back yards twice a month. Lastly, it is possible that you will hear noise from the nearby high school if there is a game being played in their outdoor stadium. The garage is not accessible to guests to park a car, but street parking is convenient out front. For stays longer than 30 days, please contact the host prior to booking. While our first priority is ensuring our guests enjoy their stay, we have an equally important commitment to the safety and well-being of our neighbors and community. Please review all the house rules listed below prior to confirming your reservation. While we hope to never encounter this scenario, by confirming your reservation, you are acknowledging that your reservation can be terminated mid-stay for violating any of these rules. If everything is agreeable, great! We can’t wait to welcome you and do everything possible to make sure you have an amazing stay. DURATION Check-in is 4:00PM or later unless other arrangements have been approved by the host. Access instructions will be sent through the booking platform the morning of your stay only after the guest agreement has been signed. Check-out is at 11:00AM unless previously discussed. Guests shall vacate the unit at the end of its rental period. If the housekeepers arrive on time at 11:00 AM and the unit is not vacated, guests will be charged $100 every fifteen minutes past 11:00 AM (pass through) for their delay. Guests who overstay their reservation prevent us from offering reservations with same day transitions and creates operational challenges for our housekeeping staff and for guests arriving the same day. We are equally committed to making sure the house is ready for your arrival as well. GUEST You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property. Guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on the booking platform, including an email, phone number, and a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in). NOISE This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we participate in a community noise reduction program. Our NoiseAware technology monitors noise levels and occupancy to help us maintain a respectful atmosphere. If excessive noise or occupancy is detected, our software will automatically reach out to remind you of our quiet hours and rules related to noise levels. This technology respects your privacy and only monitors noise levels, not personal conversations or information. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us be good neighbors! We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10:00PM-8:00AM. Sound amplification devices, such as speakers, are never allowed at the home, and quiet hours (10:00PM-8:00AM) are strictly enforced. The pool and jacuzzi are off limits during quiet hours (10:00PM-7:00AM) and any violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your reservation mid-stay, without refund. ADDITIONAL GUESTS, EVENTS, and GATHERINGS We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests or visitors unless previously authorized by the host. Unauthorized additional guests/visitors will result in an unauthorized visitor fee of $250 per person. If using party decorations, please do not use tape that will damage the paint on the walls, confetti or glitter in the home or backyard. If any tape, decorations, glitter, or confetti are found on the property following your stay, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee. POOL The use of the pool is always included in the price of your stay, however the pool is NOT heated and DOES NOT have the possibility to be heated. The pool is off limits during quiet hours (10:00PM-8:00AM) and any violation of the pool rules will result in immediate termination of your reservation mid-stay, without refund. Pool rules: - Enter the pool at your own risk! - NO running on the pool deck - NO diving in the pool - Please rinse off your body before entering the pool - Children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times - Please do not bring glass in or around the pool - No pets allowed on the pool deck, or in the pool - Do not use alcohol or narcotics before entering pool - Anyone pregnant, elderly, or those with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or any serious medical condition should consult with a doctor before entering the pool. PETS Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property. Guests who bring unauthorized pets onto the property will be responsible for a fine of $250 per pet, and any additional cleaning charges based on the cleanliness of the home at time of check-out. Please note that even if there’s a no-pets policy, there have been service animals in the past. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely free of pet allergens. DAMAGE Guests are required to report all damage that occurred during their stay to the host via the booking platform, prior to check-out. We understand accidents happen, but guests will be financially responsible for any damage that occurs during their reservation that is not covered by the damage waiver. Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment, or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes, or any other items from the unit. Guests will be liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items, or excessive check-out cleaning. SMOKING Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself, and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property. Evidence of smoking will result in a fine up to $2,000 for smoke remediation. ILLEGAL ACTIVITY No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: doing either will result in immediate eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement. SECURITY This property implements video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests. FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS If you’re interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact the host to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc. INSURANCE Having operated throughout the pandemic, we recommend the booking platform's travel insurance for your reservation or booking with a credit card that has such a policy. In the event you need to cancel or alter your stay, the cancellation policy will be adhered to. Thank you for understanding. PLEASE NOTE Guest agrees to hold the Host harmless against any and all loss, claims, causes of action, demands and/or costs and expenses that may be incurred by the guests in relation to the unit rental.
