Spacious Home in Heart of Historic Fan District
Spacious Apartment in Historic Fan District
This spacious, second-floor apartment is centrally located in the Fan District. Being an end unit, ample light brightens the space during the day, which is rare for the area. The neighborhood is very safe, and the block itself is quiet, while still within walking distance of dozens of highly-rated restaurants, breweries, and tourist attractions in the Fan and Carytown. Walking up the entry stairs, you are greeted by an exquisite, exposed-brick wall that spans a majority of the apartment. The living room is cozy and features teal accent chairs, dimmable lights, and a 55" screen TV. The two bedrooms have comfortable, memory foam queen beds and dressers for longer stays. One of the bedrooms has a small office space with a desk for working remotely. In the back of the apartment, there is a large, eat-in kitchen with a dining room table that comfortably seats four. Granite countertops and kitchen essentials make cooking in the space enjoyable and a breeze! There are no shared spaces within the apartment, so you have full use of the unit. You will have access to a private entrance with keypad entry for your convenience and safety. I'm happy to engage by providing local recommendations and helping to make your stay perfect, but I will also give you space depending on your preference. The Historic Fan District is one of the largest intact Victorian neighborhoods in the country. It is made up of 85 blocks and over 2,000 row homes. The development got its name because it followed the tracks of a late 19th century trolley line creating a fan shape with the array of streets. The neighborhood is very walkable! If you bring a car, there is usually street parking right out front. If you ever have trouble finding a spot, please let the host know.
