Come enjoy our mother-in-law suite above our stand alone garage. Nestled on Conifer Mountain, surrounded by serene forest and wildlife, you will find all the comforts of a home away from home. We are just over 5 miles from Hwy 285 and the town of Conifer, CO. Nearby access to the Platte River, Staunton State Park, Pine Valley Ranch, Beaver Ranch Park and countless other outdoor activities. Enjoy many dining options, shopping, bars, and local attractions of Evergreen, Bailey, and Conifer. You will have your own separate and private suite above our detached garage. This is one large open room. You will be able to access your suite through a private entrance. We will be working during the days, but will be home in the evening if needed. We are always available by phone! We are on a 2.2 acre lot, and neighbors are not in direct line of sight. You may observe some neighbors and their pups walking our almost exactly one mile loop around Steven Way. You will find that most are always smiling and waving, and share that friendly neighbor feel. One of the many reasons why mountain living is so special. Most of the roads around are paved, but our Steven Way loop is a compact dirt road. We have a paved driveway with plenty of space for your vehicle. Colorado mountains in the winter are some of the most beautiful and serene you will ever encounter. However, it does take some planning and preparation to be sure that you are ready and safe for the elements. If you plan to book with us during months that there could be a potential for snow (which truly can be anywhere from September through May), we do recommend that your vehicle be equipped with all wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. We will keep the driveway and your walking paths cleared of snow, and the county does a pretty good job of clearing the roads as well. As with any winter driving, we always recommend caution. We encourage you to look ahead for the weather reports to see what kind of conditions you may be dealing with during your stay with us.
