Mid-Century Oasis Hudson Valley w/ hot tub & pool
Description
This stunning mid-century modern retreat is located on 7 acres of private land, close to NYC and other upstate hamlets. With a pool, hot tub, fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows in each room, it offers 360 views of the surrounding forest. Perfect for nature and design enthusiasts, it's an ideal getaway. Follow us @theabruzzihouse. The space The Abruzzi House was built in 1960 and is an architectural masterpiece — featured in Architectural Digest (September 2022). Its curved beam roof structure, inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, and terraces in every room create a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience that immerses you in the surrounding forest. Located on 7 private acres just 1.5 hours from NYC, it's a genuine escape that doesn't ask you to give anything up. The interiors showcase iconic mid-century modern furniture alongside contemporary art and design. Every element has been thoughtfully curated — not styled for a photo shoot, but lived in with intention. In spring and fall, The Abruzzi House is at its most serene. The forest transforms around you, the hot tub and fireplace make cooler evenings something to look forward to, and the quieter pace of the season makes the 7 acres feel entirely your own. In summer, the pool opens and the decks become a natural extension of the living space — long, unhurried days spent outdoors with nowhere you need to be. Year-round, guests can explore the grounds through hiking trails, unwind in the hot tub, or simply sit by the fireplace with the Sonos surround sound system filling the room. The Hudson Valley is endlessly rich with things to do: world-class art at Dia: Beacon, Storm King Art Center, and Magazzino Italian Art; farm stands and markets throughout the seasons; and excellent restaurants across Beacon, Kingston, Hudson, and beyond. Adam's Fairacre Farms is one of the best grocery markets in the region — ideal for stocking the chef's kitchen before settling in. For food enthusiasts, we can connect you with exceptional private chefs who will create an unforgettable culinary experience on-site.
