Casa de la Tortuga Blanca is different from most of the other townhouse villas in the community. This villa has been customized for full time living so no 'cut corners' on this vacation rental. Note: This villa is typically rented as a 1 bedroom townhome in a separate listing which is where most of the reviews are located for the townhouse. The 2nd bedroom is a lock-off bedroom which is included in this rental. as a 2 bedroom rental. Note: We provide a discount for stays 1 week and longer. The space This beautiful townhouse villa has 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The 2nd bedroom is set up as a lock-off suite and it has its own private entrance, nice sized mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and micro-wave which is perfect for 2 couples sharing the townhouse. (Note: The lock-off bedroom unit can also be rented separately from the main townhouse. See our separate listing for renting this or the main townhouse separately.) There is also a ½ bathroom on the main level. There are three private terrace areas that can be enjoyed. There is an expanded back terrace with a BBQ and petite pool facing the jungle for lounging. Lounge chairs, tables and chairs are provided on all the terraces. There is an expansive upper terrace with jungle views. The lock-off bedroom has its own marble paved terrace for private enjoyment by guests in the 2nd bedroom. Many kitchen related items needed for residential living are provided, including necessary kitchen and tableware, spices, condiments, containers for leftovers etc. All you need to buy are your main ingredients for food preparation. This allows the guest to eat-in while selectively using day passes for eating out as desired rather than paying for the all-inclusive costs typical with the resorts whether you use them or not. There is a 50” smart TV in the living room and 40” smart TV’s in the bedrooms. WIFI is provided throughout the townhouse. This townhouse is separated but conveniently located to vehicle parking for the properties within the Anah Tulum residences and the townhouse faces the jungle. Note: The queen bed is a Mexican queen bed. About the same width as a US queen but not as long as a US queen. If guests have a severe fear of insects or are allergic to insects it is recommended they not book any unit in the jungle. The openings for the townhouse all have insect screens with the exception of the entry door which is weather-stripped. The townhouse is fumigated on a regular schedule. The townhouse is in the jungle so it is impossible for there not to be insects. Guest access Access from the airport can be arranged by taxi, or rental car. Directions/ information will be provided depending on how our guests intend to arrive. Guests will check-in at the Anah Tulum Residences concierge lobby before accessing their townhouse during normal business hours. If arriving later or earlier the card keys will be provided in a lock-box at the villa. A code will be provided after booking if required to access the card keys. Other things to note Bahia Principe Residences and Golf now known as Tulum Country Club: Bahia Principe Residences has the most impressive yet elegant entrance from the main highway. This luxurious residential development is one of the most luxurious communities in the Riviera Maya. Avid golfers will enjoy the beautiful 18 hole Robert Trent Jones II championship golf course that is now associated with the PGA (Professional Golf Association of America) . The course is typically readily available with tee times. Rounds are at discounted rates for guests with golf clubs available for rent if needed. There are reduced rate all-inclusive passes available for purchase for a whole day or just dinner, breakfast or lunch.
