Welcome to our relaxing private Lake House getaway. Enjoy the beautiful views of the private lake while you sip your morning coffee. Real retreat is a 4 bedroom house just a short drive from Dallas and boasts a beautifully restored 1900s downtown with plenty to see and do !! 🎣 fishing is catch and release for guests .You may only fish on the dock and you must stay on our property. The space Our home is tastefully furnished and stocked with everything you need for your perfect RELAXING get away. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths .The fourth room is a kids dream with a gaming area, foosball and many games to play. Beautiful kids’ bunk room with 2 twin bunk beds and queen on top. The other three rooms have Tv's and comfortable beds. Outside on the back deck you will find relaxing furniture to enjoy the lake views in your private backyard. Large, fenced in backyard , pool (not heated) .Wake up to the chirping of the birds, and watch our resident hummingbirds. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for chilly nights and making smores. Head down to the quaint little town of Mineola with many food options and local eats. There are also other attractions like antique shopping, an alligator park, private zoo, and Mineola train station. There is a Walmart a quarter of a mile away and several grocery stores minutes away. Summary: *Bedrooms: #1 - King bed #2 - Queen bed #3 - Queen #4 Bunk Room- 2 Twin Bunk beds and a Queen ( sleeper sofa too) with TV and Roku in all 4 bedrooms– Pack -N -play and Highchair available upon request . *2 full baths *Living room with TV, Roku, books and many board games *Kitchen with necessary utensils, Keurig and regular coffee maker and a toaster *Dining area suitable for 8 people *8Bar stools *Laundry room with Washer/Dryer *Covered font porch and back yard patio with ample sitting *Swimming Pool ( seasonal ) *Enjoying fishing from the private pier ***Please note ****this is the country side. While we make every effort to keep the premises in pristine condition, you may occasionally find wild critters, wasps, spiders, Ghats etc near the property. Also, the property being near a waterbody, there is a chance that you may find mosquitos outside the property. We cannot prevent this from happening and the evenings many bugs will hang out near lights and doors so please keep the lights off outside as much as possible at night. The house will have most everything you need for a relaxing get away. Hope you enjoy our lake-front vacation home. *HOUSE RULES* * Check-in at 4:00 pm, check-out at 11am. Please respect check-in and check-out times. Early Check In and late Check out only allowed with prior approval *Upon check in if you have any issues or concerns please reach out to us asap. We will try our best to rectify it in a timely manner. * NO PARTIES or events allowed. * Please respect the noise curfew of 10 clock. No loud music or excessive noise as it carries across the lake . We live in a POA and those rules for the property will be posted . * No pets or smoking allowed. * No illegal substances allowed on the premises. * No unregistered guests allowed. * We have security cameras outside the property (on the driveway, and on the back porch) and reserve the right to terminate a stay based on tampering of it, additional undisclosed guests, parties, smoking, nuisance to neighbors with loud noise especially during the night. * Door Lock: The house is equipped with electronic door locks. Please have the door code handy when you venture out. If for any reason you are locked out, pls don’t panic, call us immediately and we can open the door for you. * No tampering with modem, router, or any smart devices such as cameras, doorbell, smart lock etc. Tampering will incur $250 fee and immediate termination of stay without refund for non-compliance. *Septic Tank – we have septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If using washer/dryer please use only the detergent we have provided. *Accidents happen, but please inform us right away so we can assess and solve it. *Minors are allowed to use the pool but under adult supervision at ALL times. Pool Rules are posted and it is your responisibilty to follow the pool rules. A pool liability form will be sent upon booking for you to sign . By agreeing to the house rules prior to booking you also agree to the house WAIVER and RELEASE OF LIABILITY. A copy is available for you upon request. This is our home, and we love this lake home so please take care of it as if it were yours. *Please do not disturb the neighbors. This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we would like you to keep it as such during your stay. *Simple Check-out Instructions* Please load up any used utensils in the dishwasher and turn on. Please Lock Front Door by pushing the Flame button. Please take out the trash and place it on the garage side of the house under the carport. Other things to note The home is exclusively yours, without interruption during your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. 🎣 fishing is catch and release for guests - only the owners of the home can keep the fish .
