You are invited to come relax into nature, while still close to down town (with the new public market, open November 2025 - see photos). This private apartment is great for the arboretum-like garden yard, access to Whiskeytown lake & walking trail on the Sacramento River & 5 min drive to downtown. It's 10 min drive to Bethel, Whiskeytown beaches and hiking. A quick walk to the Sacramento River trail. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Mini-split heat and AC. Off street driveway parking. The space This is a retreat close to all kinds of water! Enjoy a short walk to the Sacramento River trail, a 10 minute drive to beautiful Whiskeytown lake (see photos) and a seasonal (winter/spring) rushing creek you can hear from your private patio. It is also 1.3 miles to downtown coffee shops, restaurants & shops. Completely private entrance, living space & patio. Just so you have ALL the info… I do live upstairs with housemates. Quiet hours are 11pm-8am. However, noise travels quite well so steps above will be heard. :) We really try to be conscientious though. :) From July 20-August 14, 2023 I will be hosting you remotely & will have other guests staying in my home. Guest access No shared space… except maybe the drive way as you access your entrance. Other things to note This space is the downstairs of a home that the host lives in. There will be some noise related to that. But just normal things: walking & chatting from time to time. But host is very conscientious and I want to know if it’s bothersome to you. :)
