The Perch of Germantown is located in one of Louisville's best neighborhoods - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shops along Goss Ave. A quick drive to the Highlands, downtown, NuLu, Churchill, the Kentucky Expo Center, and many more, make this spot the perfect home base for any type of trip. Just renovated with an updated elevated deck - the Perch - for outdoor relaxation or dining al fresco. This space is cozy, clean, and worthy of staycation even without its superb location. Two bedroom, one bath unit that is completely separated in the duplex we live in, so we are ready and available to make your stay perfect should you need us! Full kitchen for eating in but no one will judge if you only use the fridge for all your tasty leftovers; eating your way through Louisville is our favorite way to experience it. Onsite washer/dryer so no need to unpack and wash already worn clothes when you get home! You have access to the whole second floor as well as the entire elevated deck space. Your own dedicated walkway and entrance ensures privacy and convenience as you explore town. You will be able to self check-in and checkout. I'm here for you during your stay but our level of interaction is up to you, I'm only a message, knock, or call away! We live on site in the unit below, which means we are close by in case you have issues, but we are otherwise hands off so you can enjoy the space without interruption. One of the hippest neighborhoods in Louisville. There's a running joke that there's a bar on every corner, and it's mostly true... but we also have excellent restaurants and easy access to a grocery store nearby. We are a great compromise for folks who want easy access to nightlife, but enjoy coming home to a quiet and tranquil space. The neighborhood is incredibly walkable (did you read the part about bars and restaurants everywhere?), but Louisville is an incredibly easy city to navigate by car or bike as well. Germantown is close to many of the best food and venues in town, and there is typically ample free parking space directly in front of the house, but always space on our block. Less than three miles to Churchill Downs, the Expo Center, NuLu, etc! You've made it to the bottom of our listing, tell me what we could do to host you! Street parking is free and plentiful. We do our best to leave open a space directly in front of our house but in a worst case scenario you should not have to park any further than a couple houses away. With all the nightlife nearby, Friday and Saturday nights can be busy from 7-9ish but it clears back out as people leave nearby restaurants. There are occasionally neighborhood events a few times a year that can crowd the block but we will do our best to help you find parking and provide plenty of warning in advance.
