The Red Camp The space Treat yourself and a couple of friends to a weekend getaway in Maine's colorful and dense forest at this lakefront camp. This cozy camp radiates rustic vibes with its wooden interior, picnic table, dock, vaulted ceiling, and welcoming decor. Go out and connect with nature around you at local attractions such as Maine Wildlife Park, Bradbury Mountain State Park, or Pineland Farms. Rent kayaks (or bring your own!) and row on the water to the sounds of loons in the air and the sight of eagles soaring high above. After a long day out, you can fix something to eat in the cottage's full kitchen. Bask in the furnished sunroom with a good book in hand after dinner. End the night with some fun board games and stream your favorite movies, courtesy of the home's TV. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services will require an account to access. The fireplace is currently out of order. Guest access You'll do a self-check-in directly to the unit. A lockbox hangs to the left of the front door - enter your access code (provided in your welcome email) to retrieve the front door key. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. Early check-in or late checkout may be available for a fee - if either is offered, you'll receive an email or SMS message before your arrival. Other things to note The home comes stocked with complimentary start-up essentials including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, dishwasher pods, sponge, dish soap, laundry soap, and hand soap. Beach towels are located in the second floor hall closet. Backup linens and towels are available throughout the unit. Your reservation includes a Damage Waiver covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage.
