In the neighboring region of Hardanger you will find, among other things, the barony of Rosendal from 1664 with a landscape park and putball field (a mixture of soccer and golf), the glacier and national park Folgefonna, the spectacular rocky outcrop Trolltunga and the amusement park Mikkelparken. In winter time you can reach the downhill ski slope Fjellhaugen within 20 minutes by car.
