It is a spectacular custom log home located on an incredible 3.6 acre lot on one of Wisconsin's most beautiful lakes, the Chippewa Flowage, or the "Big Chip" as the locals call it. The Big Chip is a 15,300 acre lake with 200 islands, pure beauty, wildlife and incredible fishing including Musky. The home is 5,600 sf with 5 of its 6 bedrooms located on the main level. The living room has a massive floor to ceiling stone fireplace with lake chalet windows that face east overlooking islands and the Chequamegon National Forest. It adjoins the king master bedroom and the large cement patio. You awake to gorgeous sunrises over the lake, enjoy sun all day then cool off on the large patio late in the day. The lot slopes perfectly to the shoreline (425 ft) where you will enjoy the sand beach, 2 private docks, canoe, kayak and power to recharge your toys. There is a chef kitchen, huge dining room and kitchen seating. Five of the bedrooms are on the main level, the master having a king bed and the others with queens with bathrooms attached as well. The "kids room" is on the second level with 6 twin beds including one bunk making it 8 single beds in total and a bathroom as well. 6.5 bathrooms are located as part of private bedroom suites or adjacent to the bedrooms. There is a sound system throughout the cabin including outside on the patio. There is a large theater room with a professional sound system and a huge recreation room with arcade games, pool table and Foosball. This home and property is unique in so many ways. The private theater room is amazing and the lower level has a huge recreation room with bar quality arcade games, pool table and Foosball! NOTE- This home is for family vacations and small friend group get togethers and is in an exclusive neighborhood. It is not to be used as a party home. You must be 25 or older to rent this home. It is only through your responsible actions that we can continue to offer this private home as a rental. Please respect our home and take good care of it. Sorry we do not allow pets at this home. Seasons -From Mid June through July and August we only accept bookings for full weeks (7 Nights) from Saturday to Saturday. All other season require a 7 night minimum stay. HOUSEKEEPING * Professionally cleaned, bed linens provided, washer/dryer on site, central A/C BEDS * Master suite with king bed and lakeside views, 4 other queen bedrooms, huge bunk room that sleeps another 6-8 KITCHEN * Beautiful kitchen with counter seating and smaller dining area, full dining room table off kitchen, high end appliances, fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve a crowd. ENTERTAINMENT * Large theater room, sound system throughout home and outside patio, huge lower level recreation room with arcade games, pool table and Foosball. OUTDOOR FEATURES * Two private docks for boats, fire pit with firewood, huge cement lakeside patio, large yard for games, sand beach, canoe, kayaks, power at dock, outdoor speakers for music. BOATING * Great boating and great swimming off the shoreline, free use of kayaks and a canoe, and two private boat docks. From this cabin you can boat to many restaurants on the lake, lake gas available on the lake at area resorts. VIEW/SHORELINE * Big long lake views of Moores Bay on the 15,300 acre Chippewa Flowage, nice level area at shoreline for swimming, sand beach, lake side fire pit with free firewood. COMMUNICATIONS * Satellite TV, free internet and local phone service OTHER AMENITIES * Cabin is beautifully decorated, fireplace, large outdoor gas grill, huge cement patio overlooking the lake, central A/C & ceiling fans, private location with expansive lake views. This cabin is professionally managed by Manage Cabins LLC of Hayward, WI. We hope to see you in the Northwoods soon. Most of our cabins have keypads to provide access to the guest. A full list of access instructions will be sent to you a few weeks before check-in via email. We are around if you need us but will leave you alone to relax during your stay. Our maintenance crews may be by the cabin as needed to cut grass, shovel snow or complete other maintenance-type tasks during your stay. Our cabins are all in rural locations that require transportation to get to. These areas typically have other high-end homes in them and we ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping the noise down after 9:00 PM. Boat rentals are available in the area. If you wish to rent a boat please contact us for details. Some of our cabins include Kayaks or canoes or other nonmotorized boats for your use during your stay. Please be sure to secure these boats on shore at night or during storms. You are responsible for these boats during your stay. Please return these boats to the place you found them when your stay is complete and turn them over so they do not fill with water. All of our rentals include an outdoor firepit. Some of our rentals have contracted with a 3rd party to provide firewood. This firewood is less expensive than buying wood in town and is provided on the honor system. There is a dropbox to deposit payment for your firewood and typically it's sold by the cart full. There are also a lot of firewood stands around the are to get wood at.
