Farthing Cottage is a quaint old farm workers cottage that has been brought back to life with a full renovation. It is situated in the quiet village of Satley where there are some beautiful walks. Local attractions are Hall Hill Farm, Beamish Museum, Hownesgill Tea Rooms, Hamsterly Forest, Chopwell woods, Bowes Museum and Raby Castle to name just a few. The space Farthing Cottage is a newly renovated holiday let. The beautiful beams have been brought back to life upstairs along with the original stonework. The bedroom has a luxurious wooden kingsize bed. Downstairs the original fireplace has been opened up where there is a wood burning stove you can use. You will need to provide your own logs and ovoids if wish to use the fire There is a fully functioning kitchen including a washing machine. A separate bathroom provides a full size bath with an overhead shower. Please bring your own towels. This is a perfect base for exploring the local area or for a relaxing time away.
