Miro is perched on the shore of the Inlet at the end of the peninsula giving it wonderful views and privacy. The sunny deck and private garden are great for relaxing in a hammock or watching wading birds amble around the shoreline. Private and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes drive to shops and cafes in Māpua village. Children 12+ The space The sunny open plan living/ dining area is timber lined and has a scandinavian feel. Generous windows allow excellent views to the inlet . A woodburner and heat pump keeps the cottage very warm on winter nights. The bedroom has a king‑size bed with good quality linen and views over the garden and inlet. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has a good selection of oils and spices.(The Nelson/Tasman region is famous for its fresh produce, wine and seafood). There is also a Weber barbecue on the deck. Outside, the sunny deck and private garden extend your living space. Settle into the hammock, enjoy a dinner at the barbecue, or simply watch wading birds amble along the shoreline. Guest access Miro Cottage guests have sole access to the cottage, its sunny deck, and private garden…all the spaces that make this place feel like a private hideaway. The cottage is on a 5-acre property of regenerating coastal forest — you’re welcome to explore walking tracks that wind through native bush and along the inlet shore, with quiet places to sit by the inlet, spotting birdlife and watching the tides come and go.
