Check out our "Destinations" page to see what adventures await. Guest access You have full sole access to the three-bedroom Guesthouse, the rear deck and entertaining BBQ area and fenced backyard. Plenty of parking space on site. If you have motorcycles, we have the option of garaging them in our 2-bay garage overnight. Just ask on arrival. As we the owner live on site, we have the use of the washing machine and clothesline but try to limit it when guests are staying. Our animal feed shed is also in the backyard, and at around 5pm each afternoon we have to feed our animals. Other things to note Dear Guests, Thank you for choosing to stay with us! To ensure a comfortable, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow our house rules: • Pets: We welcome small, house-trained dogs for a fee of $20 per stay. Service animals are, of course, welcome free of charge. Please note that cats are not permitted. • Privacy: Filming or using cameras in ways that could breach privacy is strictly prohibited. This ensures a secure and respectful environment for everyone. • Parties & Events: Hosting parties or events is not allowed. • Illegal Activity: Engaging in illegal activities, including illegal downloads, is strictly forbidden on the property. • Guests: Only registered guests are permitted. • Shoes: Please remove muddy shoes before entering the house. • Food & Drink: Kindly refrain from eating or drinking in the bedrooms. • Furniture: Please do not rearrange the furniture. • Damages: Report any damages immediately. We kindly ask that you take care of the furnishings - any breakage or damage will be the guest’s responsibility to repair or replace. • Kitchen Care: Avoid placing hot items directly on the kitchen bench or tables, as they may cause burn stains. Cutting boards and heat mats are provided. Fees for resurfacing may apply. • Smoking & Vaping: Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the house. Additional cleaning fees may be charged to remove odors or stains. Smoking is allowed outdoors where ashtrays are provided. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly to avoid additional cleaning charges. • Cleaning: Please clean your dirty dishes before checking out to avoid additional cleaning fees. • Trash: Kindly take out your trash and place it in the garbage bins outside near the garage. • Appliances & Lights: Before leaving, ensure that all gas appliances, the oven, air conditioning, and lights are turned off. • Noise: To respect our neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. For lighter meals and takeaways then, Rocky Cape Roadhouse is a very good option. I’ve heard nothing but good reports of not only the food but their service as well. You’ll find them on the corner of Rocky Cape Road and the Bass Highway. It is located 3 minutes down the highway. It is also our Post Office and Service Station selling both Diesel and Petrol. The most popular venue in the region – the Rocky Cape Tavern is an absolute cracker. There’s a good range of Aussie pub staples and no chance of leaving hungry! There’s also a bottle shop on site – perfect for keeping the eski well-stocked – and frequent live music on weekends.
