The space Our beach house has a welcoming 1960s retro ambiance, whilst offering contemporary comfort. There are polished timber floors throughout, extremely comfortable beds (1 x Queen, 1 x Double, 1 x Single) and a purple sofa that converts to a Queen bed with an innerspring mattress for the 6th guest (additional fee applies for the extra guest). We provide quality Sheridan bed linen & bath towels. We have eco-friendly, whisper-quiet, state-of-the-art Haiku ceiling fans powered by solar panels on the roof. We also have Daikin reverse -cycle air conditioning to ensure you are cool in the summer and cosy in the winter. Our retro-fitted kitchen is fully equipped with modern, high quality appliances. It has a Smeg oven (gas top with electric oven), Miele dishwasher, Sunbeam rice cooker, Panasonic microwave, Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner and a Nespresso coffee machine. The large bathroom has a Miele washing machine and hairdryer. The 1960s Italian dining table has very comfortable seating for six. The Italian side-cabinet credenza holds all the wine glasses, champagne glasses, dining plates, pasta bowls, etc., you will need to enjoy that home-cooked lunch or dinner. For the Masterchef who enjoys entertaining on those hot summer nights after a day at the beach, there is a Weber Family BBQ on the timber deck. An expansive, retractable awning on the wraparound deck allows you to enjoy breakfast or a leisurely lunch in comfort and protection from the daytime UV rays of sunshine. In keeping with the retro feel, there is a record player with an eclectic vinyl collection from the 1970-80s as well as Classical composers. There is also smart TV and free & fast wifi. There is also an outside shower (near the water tank) for guests to wash down their boards or themselves after a day at the beach:) Fabulous, eclectic selection of DVD's, books, board games for friends and family to enjoy. Other things to note Strict No Party and No Smoking Policy. If we are advised of noise complaints or Party on our premises, we may initiate eviction and no refund of any remaining rental monies. Please be aware of our neighbours - Quiet times from 11pm -7am. Our beach house is to be left in a clean and tidy state. Please do not leave dirty dishes on the kitchen sink or an additional cleaning fee may be necessary. They can be placed in the Miele dishwasher and turned ON at check-out. The BBQ should be left as clean as it would be in your own home otherwise a mandatory $50AUD cleaning fee will apply. Reservations will only be accepted for guests over 25years of age.
