Other things to note We are surrounded by the rainforest, which guarantees daily wildlife visits including monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds like toucans and macaws, but also bugs are common. All windows are screened, but every now and then a few manage to make their way in. Daily cleaning is included but if bugs ir geckos are not for you or any of your group members, Costa Rica may not be the right destination for you. Do not leave fruit or eggs out, as the monkeys can get in and they can make big disasters! Always clean up after using the kitchen, even just a few bread crumbs will attract ants to come in the house.
