Our home is pet-friendly, but we ask that all guests review and follow these simple guidelines to help us keep the property clean and comfortable for everyone. 📝 Booking with Pets: • Please include each pet in your guest count by selecting “pet” at the time of booking. • A non-refundable pet fee will be applied for each pet. This fee covers standard extra cleaning and wear. • We welcome dogs by default. Other types of pets (cats, rabbits, etc.) may be considered with advance approval. Please reach out before booking if you plan to bring a non-canine companion. 🐶 During Your Stay: • Pets should be well-behaved, house-trained, and supervised. • Keep pets on a leash when outdoors or in any shared areas. • Clean up after your pet, both inside and outside. This includes waste, shedding, muddy paws, and any accidents. • Please don’t leave pets unattended for long periods, especially if they bark or become anxious. 🧼 Additional Cleaning: • If a pet causes damage or leaves behind an excessive mess (e.g., fur-covered furniture, waste left inside or in the yard, strong odors), an additional cleaning fee will be assessed to cover the extra time and supplies required to restore the space. It’s a great setup for groups who want to spread out while still staying together. The laundry area and outdoor spaces (like the grill, fire pit, and hammocks) are for your exclusive use. We have a local team available if anything comes up during your stay—but otherwise, the space is yours to enjoy in peace! Any event that includes non-overnight guests must be pre-approved and may require a separate fee and/or event insurance. • Accessibility: The main floor (Apartment 1) is wheelchair-friendly, with step-free entry, wide doorways, and a roll-in shower—great for guests with limited mobility. • Noise & Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM. Please respect our neighbors and other guests. • Pets: Well-behaved dogs are allowed with approval and must be added to your booking. Guests are expected to clean up after their pets. Extra cleaning fees may apply for excessive mess or damage. • Parking: Driveway parking for up to 3 cars, plus free street parking in front of the house. • Layout: The home spans multiple floors with three internally connected apartments. The main level is step-free; stairs are required to access upper units. • Early Check-Ins: May be available for an additional fee. Please inquire in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. • Late Check-Outs: Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late check-outs, as we need time to prepare for incoming guests. If you’d like to extend your stay, please reach out—we’re happy to check availability House Rules This home is part of a quiet, residential neighborhood and a labor of love that we’ve restored to create a warm, welcoming retreat for all kinds of guests—families, groups, and travelers from all walks of life. In return, we ask that you treat both the home and the community with the same respect and care we put into it. Our goal is to keep this special place available and comfortable for everyone. Please follow these simple guidelines during your stay: • The Golden Rule: Treat the space, neighbors, and neighborhood the way you’d like your own home and community to be treated. Respect goes a long way, and we deeply appreciate it. • Be mindful of noise. Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM. Please keep voices and music low, especially in outdoor areas and near shared walls. If you create a disturbance that affects neighbors or other guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately and forfeit the remainder of your stay without a refund. • No unapproved guests or gatherings. All guests and pets must be included in your booking. Any events or outside visitors must be approved in advance. • No smoking or vaping indoors. This includes all substances. Smoking inside will result in a $500 remediation fee. Please smoke outdoors only and dispose of waste properly. • Pets: • Dogs are welcome with prior approval, and must be added as pets in your guest count at booking. This ensures the standard non-refundable pet fee is included. • Other types of pets may be allowed with prior written approval—please reach out before booking. • Guests are expected to clean up after their pets, both indoors and outside. • Pets must not be left unattended for long periods, must be leashed in public areas, and must not disturb neighbors. • If your pet causes damage or leaves an excessive mess (e.g. fur, waste, dirt), an additional cleaning or repair fee will apply. • Aggressive or disruptive pets may be asked to leave, and you may forfeit the remainder of your stay without refund. • Don’t move furniture or decor. Rearranging furniture or decor often leads to damage and adds to cleaning time. If we find items have been moved, an additional cleaning fee will be charged. • Report any damage or issues right away. We understand that things happen—just let us know so we can take care of it quickly. • Leave the space tidy. We pay our cleaning team a living wage and do our best to keep standard cleaning costs reasonable for guests. That said, laundry, reset, and disinfection take time. To help us maintain high standards without raising fees, we ask that you leave the apartments in roughly the same condition you found them. Please: - Wash any dishes you used - Clean up spills or messes - Place trash in the indoor bins (no need to take it to the curb—our team will handle that) We’ll take care of the linens and the rest of the cleaning. This includes conduct, damages, and compliance with house rules.
