In the historic heart of Giovinazzo, in front of the Cathedral and a few steps from the sea, stands the majestic Palazzo Framarino dei Malatesta. Built between the 14th and 19th centuries, it is one of the city’s most admired buildings. Guests stay exclusively on the Noble Floor, richly decorated with frescoes and period furniture. A member of the family lives discreetly in a separate area of the Palazzo. The space The Framarino dei Malatesta family hosts only one group at a time (up to 6 guests), ensuring complete exclusivity. The interiors retain their original Neoclassical charm and are accessed through a grand entrance hall showcasing one of the family's historic carriages. Guest access Guests have private access to all reserved rooms, including the kitchen. Shared access with the Framarino dei Malatesta family is limited to the entrance hall and selected reception rooms or terraces, as shown in the photos. Other things to note Please note the following important information to ensure a pleasant and respectful experience: The Palazzo is a protected cultural heritage site under Italian law. Guests are kindly asked to behave in a respectful manner towards the historical furniture, artworks, and atmosphere. For this reason, children under 12 are generally discouraged, unless specifically agreed upon. Only registered guests are allowed on the premises. Any unauthorized access will be considered a serious intrusion. During religious or public events, access to the historic center may be restricted. Driving into the old town is strongly discouraged in July and August, based on guest feedback. Parking is usually available at the property, unless temporarily limited by local authorities. A small dog (a poodle) lives with the family in a private area of the Palazzo. While it doesn’t access guest spaces, you might occasionally see him in shared entrance or terrace areas.
