The space The farm holiday Villino del Grillo is part of a little farm, it is settled in the centre of a property of about 4 hectares between the hills of San Gimignano and managed by a family, it is characterized by its stillness. In the year 2000 the family Pierantozzi decided to restore on its own a small hayloft that was in their property. A few years later, after hard work, sacrifices and care for particulars the family Pierantozzi saw with big satisfaction that the small hayloft was transformed in a small cosy house, which is full of little details that testify the love and the passion with which the members of the family have participated to the works. So, in the year 2004, the Villino del Grillo was born in its small way and with its features, which make it very different from the other structures. It’s the place where the guests feel at their ease in the middle of a unique intimate atmosphere that, as you can read in the sentences left in the guest book, make the Villino del Grillo a nest where you can find peace, quiet but also where you can participate in the typical activities of a small farm that is yet attached to ancient traditions. The farm holiday Villino del Grillo consists of one only apartment composed by a bedroom, a living-room, a bathroom and a large garden all combined with any comfort, air conditioning and Internet ADSL wi-fi LAN. The farmhouse Villino del Grillo is the ideal place for people who want to spend a holiday in absolute peace, fully dept into San Gimignano countryside, even in winter period. In the farmholiday the whole apartment, with its own independent heating system, air conditioning and Internet ADSL wi-fi LAN, has been furnished respecting the rustic Tuscan style, with the typical ceiling of Tuscan farmhouses made by cotto bricks and wood root trees. The day unit is composed by a complete cooker, fireplace and satellite dish. The bedroom, with double bed (possibility to add a single bed or a cradle) and Internet ADSL wi-fi LAN, has got a large bathroom with showers and washing-machine (exclusive use of the guests). From the day unit it is possible to reach to a big terrace that bring to a garden of about 60 square metres. It is completely hedged (exclusive use of the guests) and provided with table and chairs in shade zones. Guest access Guests can park their car in front of the cottage, within our private courtyard, closed with automatic gate, which is provided on the remote control. Guests have exclusive use of the entire apartment and a large garden, with deck chairs and umbrella. There are spaces to share with other guests. Guests are free to visit all the properties of our company, where you can make beautiful walks through olive groves and vineyards of the beautiful countryside of San Gimignano.
