Beautiful historic home in Old Louisville built many years ago has been carefully and recently renovated to be a modern charmer. Our home was fully renovated and outfitted beautifully with historic local pieces as well as all new appliances and furniture. At over 2,000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, our home is the perfect place for your group during your stay in Louisville! It’s no fun visiting a city with friends and/or family only to find yourselves broken up between hotel rooms or smaller rental houses. Don’t be a tourist and spend more money than needed. Your group will feel like locals in this large home that is centrally located. Our home gives you and your group the opportunity to not only be together, but save money! Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire house. The Neighborhood: The neighborhood has an urban feel and is diverse and growing. There are a lot of Historic buildings as most the neighborhood was built around the 1900's. While many buildings and houses have been renovated and look almost new, some need work or are in the process of a major renovation. At the center of the neighborhood is a park named after Kentucky's first governor, Isaac Shelby. The park, Shelby Park, is directly behind the house. A cool cobblestone alley separates the park from the backyard of the house. The park has tennis courts, basketball, a playground, a splash park, and a half mile long running/walking track. Other Things to Note: Security camera/recording device — Front - Facing entrance; camera is turned on 24/7 (no audio) and records people coming in/out of the listing. No smoking No parties or events Late check out fee is at $50/hour There's a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors No weapons or firearms allowed of any sort. Violators will be reported to police and the contract will be immediately terminated. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen and traditionally this was managed via a security deposit by the guest or by the owner charging the guest for damages. This is highly unpleasant and puts a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. With our “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage by the guest up to $1,500 is covered unless it’s specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. A $49 damage deposit waiver has been included in the cleaning fee for this incidental coverage. This applies for all reservations made on or after 1/1/2021. To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry. Important note: The information is collected for verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes. Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following: - You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions. - You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in. - You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking. Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be: 1. 22 years old for out of town guests 2. 25 years old for local guests No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule. Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day.
