Nestled in a quiet piazza 'Il Mirtilllo' is one of ten houses that make up this ancient square, the oldest part of Chianni village. The Church of San Donato, dominates the piazza and has origins dating back to the 13th century. The house dating back to around 17th century, has maintained it's character of wooden beams, tiled floors and ceilings. The decor is true to it's Tuscan origins of painted plaster walls in traditional colours. Modern appliances compliment this delightful old house . Please email me to stay here under this initiative.The house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other two single beds that can be made into a double bed if required. The house has modern appliances, central heating and an air conditioning unit on the landing. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a low level toilet and bidet. The house has an ironing board and iron. A self service launderette is nearby, but I am happy to offer a quick laundry service for a small fee, if required. Free wi-fi is included along with complimentary tea and coffee. A small welcome pack of milk, juice, bread and preserves are also available for all guests upon arrival. Guests staying in Chianni have access to a hotel swimming pool 1.5 km away in Rivalto. Palazzo Del Borgo is located in the main square, Piazza Gramsci 15, Rivalto 56034. There is a daily fee of 5€ per person for the use of the pool or a family ticket of 10€ for two adults and up to 4 children under the age of 16. The hotel has a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks as well as a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. A sample menu is provided in the house guide.
