Dogs enjoy being here, too, as they are 10 metres from the water in the estuary and 400 metres to Frogtown beach, an off-leash beach except for January. The large section is 1300 sqm but is also orientated so that it has double beach frontage - the most extended beach frontage in Pataua. The long beachfront fence line has three gates for beach access - one gate has a boardwalk, with steps leading you down to the water's edge. Surfers can paddle across to the bar at the mouth of the estuary. The large section is fully fenced as we have dogs (when we are here.) A self-contained cabin has its gate for quick access to the beach. A spa overlooks the estuary and Mt Pataua. Extensive decking completely surrounds the bach, which allows you access to the other buildings. The large covered deck has a ten-seater table and chairs, bench, and lounge area.
