Our wonderful Grade 2 listed cottage is 200 years old and not perfect but definitely full of character. The gas heating system supplies hot showers and lovely warm rooms. Additional Heating from a wood burning stove. There is free parking on Burston Road outside the property. The cottage has low ceilings, the stairs are steep not suitable for elderly or infants Bedroom two is accessed through bedroom one. 2 minute walk to Dickleburgh village pub shop and church and chip shop. The space There is a double sofa bed at the cottage for additional couple, please enquire additional £10 per person per night. Being a character cottage the property has low ceilings and a spiral stairs. the second bedroom is accessed through the first bedroom with a separating wall and door curtain. The cottage sits on a small plot of land with a front garden big enough for family BBQs and relaxing in the sun (Sun not guaranteed - This is England) The cottage is conveniently placed for great road access to all the popular holiday amusements in Norfolk / Suffolk. The medieval town of Norwich is 17km to the north, Norwich is a great shopping destination and is steeped in history, the city offers 2 cathedrals and a wealth of pubs, bars and restaurants. Within 45mins drive in any direction you will come across great attractions and towns worth a visit... Bury St Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Southwold, Thetford, Ipswich and just 1 hour away from the beautiful North Norfolk coast. Ground Floor - we have a fabulous living space with beams and wood burning stove in a fantastic fireplace. The kitchen and dining room have plenty of room for the family and the toilet and shower room are separate on the ground floor. There is a 40" tv in the living room. The first floor at Myrtle is as follows. Up the old stair case to the first bedroom with a double bed and through to the 2nd bedroom with 2 singles. The rooms are basically one room with a dividing wall between the 2 so please take note of this. The rooms are fully beamed and are cosy with low ceilings and exposed brick fireplace. The rooms are suited to 2 separate guests with a room each or a family of 4. the beds layout is fixed. Within the village is a local shop a pub and a chip shop. Other local towns for food shopping are Diss, Harleston. Local villages all around have some excellent public houses.
