Other things to note Alternative rides from the airports to the city From JFK Airport: If you don't have a lot of luggage, the fastest and more economic way is by the AirTrain to Jamaica Queens, change to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Penn Station change to subway red line #2 or #3 train uptown to West 116th St. stop and walk north on Lenox Ave. ( 2 blocks ) to West 118th St make a left on 118th Street on the north side to 105. and buzz #1  From LaGuardia Airport: You may take the M60 bus to Lenox Ave and 125th Street, walk south on Lenox Ave. toward West 118th Street, make right on the westside of the Avenue. From Newark  Airport NJ:  Take the Air Train to the NJ Transit Train to Penn Station, take the #2 or #3 express at Penn Station to West 116th Street subway stop, walk two block north to  West 118th Street, turn left to 105 on the north side of the block.
