The bus services through the village are regular (hourly) , and will take you to Rhodes Town, Lindos and all points between at a reasonable cost. Taxis are also available. A brief guided tour of Massari village and the two nearby resorts at Haraki and Agathi is provided free, and you will find guide books and maps in the house should you wish to venture further afield. Leave the car in the square, and wander down past the church, and one of the most beautiful horseshoe bays in the Greece will open out before you. Less than 45 minutes in the car will find you exploring the battlements of Rhodes Town in the north, wine-tasting on the western slopes of Mount Attaviros, or watching the kite-surfers who come from all over the world to catch the waves at Prassonisi on the southern tip of the island. Also ideal as a base for hiking or cycling, a five minute walk will see you spotting honey buzzards on a quiet mountain road, or maybe just scrumping the odd orange as you wander down the olive tracks.
