Holiday park Grafschaft Bentheim is located near the town of Uelsen, just 4 kilometers from the Dutch border, in the wooded area of the county of Bentheim. The slightly sloping landscape offers many opportunities for extensive walking and cycling. The park is an ideal holiday destination for families with young children, but also for nature lovers. The space Behind the park you can walk straight into the forest. Do you want to swim? This is possible in the nearby swimming pools (2.5 km), where you can enjoy hours of water fun. You can cycle beautifully in the wooded area. At the reception you can get information about cycling and walking routes. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers are available. If you want to wash, make an appointment at the reception. The washroom is open like the reception. There is a large adventure playground 500 m from the park where children can play for free. Wi-Fi internet is available, with possible fluctuations in the house. Unfortunately, not all houses have Wi-Fi internet. Working online or downloading files is unfortunately not possible. Wi-Fi is only suitable for messenger services. Games can be borrowed from reception. The detached house is situated on a large plot at the start of the park, is suitable for a maximum of eight adults and four children and has its own parking space. The cosy living room is furnished with a comfortable sitting and dining area and a cozy fireplace. There is a nice open kitchen with an electric cooking unit, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. The house has four bedrooms, two bedrooms each have a double bed, the third bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed and the fourth offers 2 bunk beds. The beds have single duvets and pillows. There are two bathrooms in the house, which were renovated in 2022, and a separate toilet. The one bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, a washing machine and dryer, as well as a changing facility for babies. The other bathroom has an Toilet, a sink an a shower. The house is equipped with television with German channels. There is also a radio. Free WiFi for guests! Unfortunately not all houses have a good reception. You cannot work online or download files. Guest access Check-in: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the summer holidays (arrival times may vary in the low season. You will be informed about possible arrival times by e-mail about one week before your arrival). On arrival, please report to the reception for the key handover. If you arrive after 6:00 p.m., please call the reception in advance and discuss the key handover. Check-out: by 10 a.m. Please hand in the key at reception or, if you are leaving earlier, deposit the key in the mailbox to the right of the reception entrance. Other things to note The spa town Uelsen is a cozy village in the middle of the authentic Grafschaft Bentheim region. The County of Bentheim lets you enjoy boundlessness in a beautiful rolling hilly landscape, where forests, heaths, meadows and fields alternate. The restored wind and water mills show the unmistakably Dutch influence on the village. About 2 km from the park are an open-air swimming pool with slides, diving boards and sunbathing area (open in good weather from mid-May to mid-September) and the indoor swimming pool with the longest slide in the region. There are also mini golf (open from early April to mid October), bowling alley and a tennis court. Especially for the active holiday maker there is the Bicycle bus (with trailer). It runs on 2 routes between Bad Bentheim and Emlichheim during the summer holidays and weekends, you can get off anywhere, after which you can complete the tour on foot or by bike. Bad Bentheim has a beautiful 18-hole golf course. Within a radius of 40 km you will find a large number of interesting trips such as the animal park in Nordhorn (our guests receive a 25% discount on the admission price, ask for the discount card at the reception). Then there is Emmen Zoo 'Wildlands', the amusement parks in Hellendoorn and Slagharen and Plopsa Indoor in Coevorden. The Moviepark at Bottrop is also only 1.5 hours away. The nice towns of Tubbergen with a tropical swimming paradise (8 km), Nordhorn and Ootmarsum are certainly worth a visit. The spa town of Bad Bentheim, with its narrow streets and alleys, should not be missed on your vacation. It has a cozy center with an almost 1000 year old castle. In short, you go on holiday to a versatile environment with many options for everyone.
