It is only 90 minutes drive from Oslo and about 1 hour drive from the cities of Drammen, Larvik, Sandefjord, Horten, Tønsberg and Skien. 2 hours from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen. The calendar is always updated. There are great hiking opportunities from the cottage throughout the year. The cabin is located in a cozy cabin area with plenty of space between the cabins in Norwegian nature. Here is privacy, peace and quiet. This is a gem! In the summer you can borrow a small rowboat for free. 6 beds. (Two bedrooms with bunk beds (single beds) and one bedroom with double bed.) A travel cot with baby duvet and high chair is available if you are bringing young children. Duvets and pillows for 6 people. The cottage is a wonderful starting point for great experiences. Good memories can be made here! At the cabin we have quality time and we enjoy the time together. The fact that we've opted out of TV helps provide peace and community. We have a deck of cards and many board games available. We have Bluetooth speaker, which you can use for Spotify, for example. Outside there are many opportunities, with swimming, own zipline on the property, basketball basket etc. The cabin has very good sun conditions, so the terrace is also used a lot. Skrim offers great nature experiences with idyllic bathing waters, good fishing opportunities and lots of berries and mushrooms to find. The tourist association has marked trails so it's easy to find. Family-friendly terrain, and if you want a hike, a hike is recommended for a trip to Styggemann where the view is amazing! Skrim also has protected limestone caves. Sandy rat is exciting to experience. In winter, Skrim is known for having great and family-friendly ski slopes. There are uphill ski slopes only 50 meters from the cabin. Here you can buckle up on your skis by the cabin wall. If you are fond of slalom, telemark or snowboarding, it is only a half hour drive to Kongsberg Ski Center, which has a chairlift and 10 km. with floodlit runs. In winter, it happens that the pond below the cabin is cleared, then it is great to go ice skating there. It's also fun for the kids to go (There is a steering wheel and board at the cabin) The mining town of Kongsberg is only a 25 min drive from the cabin. There you can visit the silver mines, bowle, rent go-karts, go to a restaurant, GruveSpa and enjoy the beautiful city. Half an hour drive from the cabin you will find the Høyt and Low climbing park. It is Scandinavia's largest climbing park with 16 climbing trails, 34 ziplines and its own offer for the youngest children with Nett & Sprett. From the cabin it is 75 min to Bø Sommerland, Norway's only outdoor water activity park. It is about 40 min to drive to the beautiful and powerful waterfall Trollfoss. If you rent the cabin for several days, it is a great starting point for fine day trips. It only takes 2 hours to drive to Gaustatoppen. You can climb the top on foot, or take the spectacular wing track that goes inside the mountain. If you love animals, it's only 2 hours and 20 minutes to Langedrag. At the mountain farm you can meet animals such as wolf, lynx, wild boar, old Norwegian livestock breeds, fox, horses, dogs, peacock and more. Guest access You will have the whole cabin for yourselves. Other things to note A maximum of 7 people in the cabin. Sleeps 6 meters in length and a bed space for children up to 3 years in a crib. Let us know if you want to rent bed linens/towels or buy wood. The cabin has no TV, but fast and free wifi. In the summer you can borrow a small rowboat for free, it is located 200 meters from the cabin.
