Dock Tarn Lodge near Ambleside, is a wonderful lodge situated towards the top end of an established woodland estate where sightings of red squirrels, roe deer and an abundance of birdlife are common. The spacious open-plan wooden lodge offers a real retreat for family or friends, two bedrooms: 1 x double, and bunk. Free parking for up to one car adjacent to the lodge with additional free parking at the top of the estate. A pass for the swimming pool facilities is provided. The space The wooden lodge offers two bedrooms, a double and a bunk, both with built-in cupboards and electric wall-mounted heaters. The living area, with sofas, leads to the L-shaped kitchen, which is well-equipped with plenty of storage, and the dining table. Patio doors from the living area open onto the welcoming patio area and outside furniture. Summary Two bedrooms: 1 x double with fitted wardrobes, 1 x bunks, with a three-quarter double below and a single above. Open plan living area with comfy sofas, electric fire, Smart TV with Netflix (own account required), and french patio doors leading to the patio with outside seating. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, Nespresso Dolce coffee machine (pods), microwave, toaster and a dining table with 4 seats. Bathroom with shower cubicle, basin, heated towel rail, and toilet. Free parking for up to one car adjacent to the lodge with additional free parking at the top of the estate. A pass for the swimming pool facilities is provided, which includes a sauna and table tennis table. Other things to note Dock Tarn Lodge is accessed from the parking space via 5 steps with an additional step into the property. Pool facilities are available from the start of March to the end of October. Please note: As of September 2024, the twin bedroom has been changed to a bunk bed comprising a three/quarter double below and a single above. The single is suitable for an adult.
