In the small Normandy village of Grandcourt, the Chezelles family offers you a wing of the family property, a former hunting lodge built in 1645. Occupancy is 13 people (6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms). You will appreciate the large living room, the equipped kitchen, not to mention the park crossed by the river that will bring you peace and quiet, as well as a private tennis court. The space You will appreciate a large, equipped kitchen that gives you complete freedom to prepare meals for a family or groups of friends. You will enjoy its atmosphere, which combines authenticity and modernity. A direct opening onto a small porch will allow you to enjoy the garden (table, garden chairs and deckchairs are at your disposal). A large dining room can be opened for 12 or more adults. The kitchen also opens onto a very large living room with an imposing brick fireplace. It encourages conviviality with its large sofas, game table, foosball, and piano. A ping pong table is located in the next room and will allow for frenzied games. This house is ideal for a family event, a family reunion, a get-together with friends, to celebrate a birthday or to celebrate Christmas with family. Many also come for remote work. A balcony offers a breathtaking view of the garden, the river and the dovecote. It has a spacious and bright bathroom, including a large bathtub in the center of the room, a walk-in shower, and a large closet. Its private toilets are separate and are located opposite, on the landing. The "Gabrielle" room The "Gabrielle" bedroom, with an area of 30 m2, consists of a 160 x 200 double bed, a large desk and several armchairs for you to relax. The latter opens onto a bright and pleasant bathroom composed of a bathtub, a large wardrobe and a toilet. The children's room The children's bedroom, known as "La chambre aux perruches", has three single beds. It is large enough to add an extra bed upon request. A large wardrobe and a dresser are available to store your children's personal belongings. Let yourself be lulled by birdsong, escape with the books available on the shelf... The room is adjacent to the parents' bathroom. The Baltimore Room With an area of 30 m2, the Baltimore bedroom consists of a 160 x 200 double bed, a desk and several armchairs for you to relax. A large wardrobe is available to store your personal belongings. The bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom with shower. The Pink Garden room With an area of 30 m2, the Pink Garden room consists of a 160 x 200 double bed, a large desk and several armchairs to relax in. A large wardrobe and dresser are available to store your personal belongings. The bedroom is adjacent to the bathroom with shower. The Bellegarde Room The Bellegarde room consists of 2 twin beds 90 x 200 cm (which can be pushed together), a desk and several armchairs for you to relax. A dresser is available to store your personal belongings. Bellegarde is adjoining the Pink Garden room. It also has a bathroom with a bathtub. More information For your comfort, the beds will be made upon your arrival, and you will find a set of towels in each bathroom. You will also have a half stère of wood at your disposal upon arrival (€30 for an additional half stère). A cleaning fee is charged and amounts to 160 euros. The package is included in your booking. This exceptional mansion is available for rent for a minimum of 2 nights (on weekends). Unfortunately, our pets are not allowed. Also things to know Please respect the premises and the noise level, as the owners live next door. The accommodation includes stairs. A river runs through the garden. Please supervise your children, who are your responsibility. Nice dovecote on the property overlooking the tennis court (usable from April to October). Some areas are shared — the tennis court (quick clay, usable from April to October) with the owners, as well as a pétanque court. A security deposit of €800 – in case of property damage – will be required upon signing the contract. A badminton net, a ping pong table (with loan of balls and paddles), and a foosball table are provided. Your children can also enjoy the wooden playground (swing). Access to the river is possible, but we remind you that it surrounds the entire property and can be a REAL DANGER for children. Note: it is quite possible to have a drive (with Leclerc Drive) delivered to the Baronnie before your arrival and I am at your disposal to put your products in the fridge upon receipt of your order. To enjoy your weekend with peace of mind, use our caterer located in the neighboring village. "L'Orée du Bois" in Guerville. Guest access The tennis court is at your disposal. You have access to a garden behind the house and along the side of the house, near the river, with a part located beyond it. You will have privacy. Only the lawn by the dovecote is a shared garden that you will cross to access the tennis court. Feel free to stop by the flower beds, the dovecote and the straw house, which are our pride and joy!
