Our home is a beautiful Victorian fully equipped property. Perfectly placed just a 8 minute walk from the City Centre and 5 minutes from Rowntree Park - one of York's most attractive sought-after areas > Only a stones throw from the River Ouse, this cosy home is the perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring everything this phenomenal city has to offer, with a lovely outside courtyard perfect for evening drinks or a BBQ breakfast in the sun. Our charming Victorian house is over 100 years old and, while lovingly maintained, still carries some delightful period character and gentle wear that adds to its homely feel. Perfect for families, couples, contractors, or small groups, the house comfortably sleeps 4 and can host up to 6 using the double sofa bed. We’re also proudly pet-friendly, so your four-legged family members are more than welcome. Sofa converting into a small double bed Smart TV with Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. (we don't provide the subscription) Board games & books Perfect for chilled evenings in! 🛏 Upstairs Bedrooms Bedroom 1 – Master A spacious room with a luxurious king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, full-length mirror, and original Victorian fireplace. Bedroom 2 – Twin Room A charming room with two comfy twin beds — perfect for kids or friends. Includes a wardrobe, drawers, and Victorian fireplace. 🛁 Bathroom A clean, tiled bathroom with a deep P-shaped bath and overhead shower. Towels and shower gels are provided for your stay. 🚗 Parking Free on-street parking is available, with space for more than one car. Guest access All access to a complete kitchen, laundry, dining, and living areas, for a full home away from home experience. Riverside Lodge is the perfect alternative to a hotel or guest house. Other things to note Well behaved dogs which are house trained are welcome :) Please let us know. Parking can be tight due to the narrow victorian streets. We recommend to tuck your wing mirrors in! Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am, we live in a quiet residential street and like to the neighbours happy. Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the Airbnb property. The sofa bed is a small double, suit for one person or two children.
